I am so happy for you Denise!! You really deserve this and the Lord has really blessed you I have been thinking of you alot lately and appreciate your messages---I've really needed them with what I've been going through with my DD---it's been 2 weeks now and a myriad of phone calls to the doctor---she has been so sick and I've been out of the loop with everything---just holding her and taking care of her---I'm really worried but I know with Him watching over her that everything will turn out OK---will be going to the docs again tomorrow so I'll let you know. You really brightened up my day with your message here---So glad to hear some great news!!!! Congrats again and I know someone who will be very envious that you get to work at the zoo because she loves animals!!! Enjoy and most importantly Give Thanks and Have Fun!!!---You will be great with the kids!!!!

This will have to be a very short report as I have to leave to work at Ruby's in just a few minutes:

Well this may sound strange, but I feel like I'm working in Disneyworld all over again!! :happy1: :happy1: Today, I got to walk the zoo and ride the train so I could get a feel for everything and before I boarded our train, which is a little miniature safari (watch out AK!! ) I met a group of young children in the zoo for a field trip. I asked them with the permission of their teacher if Miss Denise could join them to see the animals! They all screamed YES!! (They were little chocolate drops like me!! Well, I'm a big chocolate drop...they were little chocolate drops!) Not only did I join them on the train ride, I joined them in a walk around the zoo and we fed the giraffes, goats, pigs, bunnies, talked about our favorite animals and laughed at the Mandrill with the "funny colored butt"! (Anyone know of what animal I speak of?)
So I can tell you, I'm having a blast!! It's very hectic, but it's fun. No the job doesn't pay me much, $6 an hour, but I'll be sticking around Ruby's for a bit so DH and I won't be hurting for money. We aren't hurting now, but not serving as much as I used will cut our income quite a bit, but I know the Father will provide as He ALWAYS does.
Well, off I go. Have to iron my shirt and off to Ruby's to make more money for ANOTHER car repair! You know what though, DH and I have had the money for the repairs and I've been blessed to be able to pay cash for every one of them. We don't own credit cards, but I haven't had to depend on the money in the checking account for the repairs.

Guess what else....I told my boss I want to learn how to do the train ride and she smiled bigly and said, "don't worry, you will!" I was like ALRIGHT!! I've always to do "shows" where I have to narrate and this will be so much fun telling all the daily visitors about our wildlife at the zoo!!
