well......not exactly. But thanks for letting everyone know they can now go back to firefox.

we've all rebooted 100's of times the last week or so while vmk was working on the bug, and no dice.

The good news is, however, that vmk has finally fixed the bug and firefox does indeed now work. Just bumped into a vmk staffer while i was in on IE about 15 minutes ago and asked "when is the firefox problem going to be fixed?" and her reply "it was as of this morning" lol.

Was on my way here to post it, when i saw this post. Thanks rundown.

What exactly was the firefox problem? I've been trying to use Firefox for days, but all I get when I log in is a black screen that does nothing. It says "Waiting for download.virtualmagickingdom.com" in the status bar, but doesn't actually load anything.

THAT was the problem lol, it was happening to us all (well most of us). Now it should work fine for you though. You may or may not have to reboot first, but they fixed the problem so your firefox should work now, give it a shot.

I've tried it (after rebooting) on both my PC and Mac, but no luck. Grr. Still get the logo, then black screen of death.

I just got the black screen of death a minute ago too, then i tried again and got in, perhaps the bug isnt going without a fight? lol all i can say is keep trying, as i have had it work, and not work, then work again today.

It works!

Altough it did take a while for the blue bar to finish. But I just let it go, and eventually everything started up.

And I didn't have to reboot.

it tried rebooting it a MILLION TIMES !!!! it still didnt work but i got internet explorer and it works on there

I don't believe it. Firefox finally works for me. I didn't do anything differently, and it suddenly works. Yay!

I've been VMK free for more than a week thanks to a bug that killed Explorer on my machine and the sudden Firefox problem.

This made my day!
