I saw that WDW has new ticket options and I had a ?

DH and I were going to go to WDW on our vacation before our APs ran out. Now due to military obligations we can't go until a month after they expire. I was browsing the WDW website and saw that they have a new deal for FL residents for a 3 day/3park ticket which looks like it would work. Since I don't know what "normal" tickets cost (we have always had APs) I just wanted to ask if it looks like a good deal and if it is cheaper to go this route. I enclosed the link.

Edited to add that even though we live in NY, we retain our FL residency through the military so we can buy these.

Sorry I can't help much as I am not a Florida Resident and I'm not that familiar with the tickets offered to Residents.

It looks to be a good deal because you are getting 3 days for the same price a non-Florida resident would pay for a 2 day pass.

From what I've seen with the new tickets vs old tickets.....the new tickets are cheaper if you buy what you need for your visit and don't plan on saving extra days for the future.

If you were compare apples to apples and purchase a hopper ticket now with the no expiration feature, the park hopping features, and plus features, you would pay more than you would have paid in the past.

I don't know how much the Florida residents were effected by all of these changes, so I'm not sure I helped very much....lol

I did notice that you can apply the price of that 3 day pass towards another AP. I don't know if that means you can go for 3 days and decide to upgrade to the AP or if you get partial credit for the unused days or what....but, it is a nice option to have in case you do decide to go with the AP again.....
