Great movie!!! I only went because a friend asked if I would go see it with her...now I'm glad she suggested it! Would be great for families with older (say age 9-14) aged children.

Go see it, if you're looking for something to do!

Our family went also - it is a very good movie - uplifting. The audience even clapped during the movie when some of the characters "spelled correctly" . It was fun.

That was one of the best family movies I have ever seen. The whole audience was cheering. If you have kids or even if you don't you will really love this movie.

Laurence Fishburne and Keke Palmer were on one of the morning shows this week - I believe Today, he praised her talents. She has an amazing singing voice as well, and writes songs. She has signed a contract with Atlantic Records. I think we will see a lot of this young girl!

DD and I will definitely be going to see this movie.

I definately agree - I really enjoyed this movie. I went to see it a few weeks ago at the Phoenix Film Festival, and sat through a Q&A session with Laurence Fishburne and the director. Younger girls would probably really enjoy the movie - lots of great messages.

I just saw this movie.

I hope everyone with children gets the opportunity to see this first rate film. The acting was great, the story was great, I loved it. I really hope that this will be a 'sleeper film', one that does not do well on it's first release (which sadly it did not do well at all), but then word of mouth boosts interest.
