I wonder if those bus drivers that interact with guests like that have any idea how many smiles they put on tired faces? Every once in a while we've gotten one like that and it's so neat to have a total group of strangers get in the spirit and participate.

We've had only one grumpy driver ever and that was a couple weeks ago at Epcot after closing. He was actually yelling at people to hurry up, get on now, hurry up, move it faster. He needed a big dose of happy juice. I'll bet if we had started singing he would have said "shut up.'

Tonight on the way back to POFQ the bus driver from Epcot put on french accent and tried to talk like Inspector Cleusau (sp?) He really got the people on a very packed bus laughing.

My ds learned The song at boy scout camp and to hear it in person is even better then the mp3 of the song. They sang it like a race car.... I said a vroom chick a vroom and under water style running their finger over their lips. I hope we get this driver next time.

I work at a girl scout camp and we sing it all the time. My favorite version is...

I said a broom swiffer broom

oh yeah! all right!

those of you who haven't heard this before probably think I'm crazy now. But it's a good song to sing when you're walking or have a LOT of time to kill.

So, quick question...has anyone else been on the Disney buses and the driver CM started a round of Boom-Chicka-Boom? I had never even heard of this song prior to that trip, but at 11:30 at night after a LONG day and a bus packed-full, that song was exactly what we all needed! This was years ago, and to this day my family will randomly break out ..."I said a Boom-Chick-a-Boom...Uh huh! Oh, yeah!"

Yes! We did this and LOVED IT! When I was a cheerleader we did the boom-chick-a-boom cheer at camp. Loads of fun! I loved that the Disney driver did it. He had us singing and cheering the entire way back to POR! Just added that little something extra to the Disney magic :0)

My favorite way (way back when) was Valley Girl Style "I said a Boom Chicka Rocka Chicka gag me with a spoon!" LOL
