They told me they can't guarantee that I get one. What are the odds that I won't get one?

I don't know what to do if they have no more available. I can't bring one with us.

TIA:)

i've never read here of anyone having difficulty getting one at the values, it'd never crossed my mind it would be an issue, we just arrived at our room (all star movies in early August so quite a busy time) and when we arrived we called down to the desk and they had one sent up, it was there by the time we got back from finding some lunch. I know the room next to ours had 2 delivered as we travelled with them and they had 2 under 2.

I think CRO has to tell you that a pack & play isn't guaranteed, but I really wouldn't worry. We've never had an issue getting one for DD on four trips. I would think the Values would have a ton of pack & plays.

Have a great trip!

We haven't stayed at a value but no one mentioned to us any time we called that we might not have a pack n play for DS. It actually never even crossed my mind that we wouldn't have it for him.

I've never tried for a crib at a value, but I have had trouble getting bed rails at a moderate before. (They have the same "requested but not guaranteed" policy for bed rails as they have for the cribs.)

Both times we had trouble getting them were days that we checked in late in the evening. When we've checked in early in the day, we've never had trouble.

It was a while ago, but we got one at a value. I don't think Disney will guarantee anything, just to cover themselves.

I used abbf on our last trip to the Poly. We rented a crib for FDD because I knew from experience that she wouldn't sleep in a pack-n-play. It was so easy! We ordered online and it was waiting at the hotel for us when we arrived. It was simple to put together and dismantle. They do provide sheets, etc., but we brought our own crib sheet and blanket.

I would say renting is worth it. That way you know you'll have a crib.

How old is the baby?
We've never stayed at that resort, but in the ones where we were, the beds were not fixed to the wall - only the headboard. So, a few times when the bedrails didn't make it up in time, we would push the bed against the wall, then put the chairs up against the bed on the other side and put pillows all around.
Good in a pinch...

Out of curiosity to those that have used the Pack N Plays at the value resorts --

How clean are they?

I will take PP's suggestion and bring my own sheet & blankets for my DD, but I was just wondering if I should bring anything else...

I used the pack and play at when we stayed in the family suites at all star music.
They were fine. I did not bring my own sheets and I'm pretty sure they came with really cute Mickey sheets

I think in 4 hotels stays with pack and plays (or cribs) disney's was the best.

We rented a crib and portable high chair/feeding seat from abbf. I highly recommend them! Everything was immaculate... including the linens! I couldn't use the Pack N Play... dd won't sleep in them. But now having had such a wonderful experience with abbf I don't have to worry!

We brought extra linens, mostly because I wanted something in the event that there was a "mess" in the middle of the night. That way I could have clean sheets on hand.

I would agree with PP's though about the availability of Pack N Plays... they probably can't guarantee one but I've never heard of anyone needing one and them not providing one.

We have used PNPs at WL and ASMusic, and they were exactly the same. Both were clean, but you could bring some disinfecting wipes and wipe it down if it helps you feel more comfortable. I didn't on our first time, but I happened to have some on our second trip.

We requested and received a PNP with no problems.

Here's what I did - I saw all of the great reviews of abbf.com here, so I took their phone number with me just in case. If something happened, like our stroller broke or we needed a real crib (not just a PNP), I could call them.

Just bring anything that your child needs to sleep (blanket, etc.). Mine really likes her "noise", i.e. sound machine!

We actually requested a crib when we made our reservation. I'm hoping for a PnP...but...I'll take whatever I can get for my LO.

That's a good idea. I'll definitely keep that in mind, as we are more than likely going to rent a stroller, as well.

We used Orlando Crib Rental when we went last month. They have new commercial cribs that were wonderful. NO PARTS or ASSEMBLY! They delivered the crib to the room when we arrived. The bedding was really nice also, Carters. Wonderful company, I would highly recommend using. I found them in Birnbaums 2009 Official Guide to Disney. They were the only company that Birnbaums recommends.
