I once... dare I say it... Thought that yavn was an ordinary player when he came up to me and said Welcome to VMK on my first day. Oh gosh, he didn't have blue ears then.

Just a note: I was a quiet guest. No question, no trade with me staff, no taken, no baby. I was like the way I am now, except for some cowboy adjustments

The amount of silly things I have said are uncountable! lol.

I do remember one afternoon while I was not thinking lol, I thought flips were some sort of magic that turned you over! It was only about a month after I had joined and didn't think twice about flips being shoes! That is one memory I am ashamed of! lol

I remember when I first started VMK, and I saw someone who had CL_ in front of his/her name. I thought it was his/her initials or something, and then I saw a few other people with the CL_ in their names, and I kept thinking, wow, a lot of people have the same initials.

I also remember holding my first game in my room, (this was in the same week that I started VMK) falling chairs, and I remember giving out some NPC pins and a fireworks pin (not the magic) as prizes. Man, I feel so bad for those poor winners. I did not know, at that point, that I was giving away useless, worthless pins.

I can remember not knowing about the little "world" button that transports you to different places in VMK. Each day I would literally walk from NPC character to the next to get my credits. I finally posted on the Dis asking about how long it took just to get my credits, and someone thankfully told me about the "shortcut" LOL!

Yes, most of us were quite dumb when we started. When I started, I thought I had the best thing in the world: The BoomCrash! pin. Turns out, someone finally had the courage to say"every peep can get that". That turned my world upside down!

Same thing as my brother has said above, but also, I had a Dark Blue ROCKET couch. And I guess what I traded it for. A STINKING Fireworks magic. Boy, was I MAD at myself when someone told me that I could get FIVE fireworks for it... I still hate myself for it.
And I didn't buy a single costume on Halloween! I missed out on all those rare stuff I could of gotten in return.

I thought 'nedding' was where you went and visited all the NPC.... making a ned run.... turns out 'nedding' is crashing on the Jungle cruise a million times (at 20 points each)

I thought you had to type the words BoomCrash, etc, to make the Magic Pins (Cursed Storm, Pirate Costume & Buried In Treasure) work, not just click the button each time!

I remeber my first week or so in VMK when you visited the charecters, they talked/welcomed you. Well I ALWAYS talked back to them

I finally relized it was just a random thing it did to everyone when this happened..

Me:Hi how are you today?
some kid: Who you talking to?
Me: Im talking to ned why?
kid: He cant hear or talk back to you.
Me: Yes he can, he does all the time!
kid: No he always does that. He does to everyone.

I stand there for a momment and then I relized he is saying the samething over and over.. i go to the other NPC and yes it is true.

And to think, I had actully thought I had some friends XD

I thought that Buried in Treasure made you teleport to another room.

I thought Yavn was a robot.

ROTFL, I have told that to some people already, so that kid could have been me. The funniest moment ever of those cases was when I saw a person asking the yeti to be his friend, rotfl. As for me, I don't remember very well of my first days, just that as english is not my language, I had no clue was "are you taken?" meant, so I kept on saying yes, until I understood what it was, lol.

Now that's the spirit! When unclear as to what something means, just nod, smile and say yes! LOL


I remember when I first started I had no idea how to "chat" lol. Sadly it took about 5 minutes before I discovered that if you click in that bar, you can type LOL. But for that 5 minutes I was the mute person walking around using only emotes rofl

During my first day walking around, not many people had won pirates yet, so very few people had invisible magic. Every time I saw them I would immediately click "ask to be a friend". I only wanted to ask them how they got it, but I wasn't one to blurt out questions. When I finally found someone who accepted my friend request and came to talk to me, I ask him and he let me know how to get it. He is still on my friend list, but doesn't play much any more.

Also we used to see staff all the time, and I would always click "ask to be a friend" - but strangely they never accepted.

As I mentioned on another post, I debated whether I should spend a whole 250 credits on one pin (Fantasyland Castle Retro Pin), but decided that I really wanted to collect all the pins, so I did. (Now I have way too many of them and can't get rid of them)

I think I was playing several days before I found out that you double click on the NPC's to get pins and credits. I thought the games were the only way to earn credits.

My first day in VMK was just walking around looking at all the awesome graphics in the game until I got to the Matterhorn. Man I really wanted to ride one of the rides in the Matterhorn. I spent about 15 minutes clicking on different things trying to get on one of them. I finally asked someone how to get on and was took you couldn't. I was so disappointed. I still want to ride them.

I wanted to ride the matterhorn ride too. Still do... and now splash mountain as well.

I remember spending HOURS waiting in town square and main street for the summer parade that never came... I believe that event was my first encounter with the dc monster, as instances on main street were so crowded that you had to wait in lines to get in them. Everyone was trying to find the imaginary parade and find out which instances staff members were in so they could win inferno. I always got into a room right after staff left...
