On March 5 I went to Epcot and purchased a leave a legacy tile in honor of my aunt who recently passed away. Today, less than a month later I received the certificate and it is very nice looking, i love it! I am wondering does this mean that the tile i purchased is on display now (I am assuming it does)? Now i have to go to Epcot this weekend and see it!

That was so nice of you. What a great way to leave a legacy about someone you love. I'd love to see a picture. If you don't mind me asking, how much do these cost. We loved looking at these on our last trip.

The tile cost $25.00. My aunt was a DVC owner and loved Disney. She used her DVC once per year. She lived in PA and in Feb.of every yr she would go on a cruise from FL then after the cruise would spend four or five days at Disney. I am so glad she was a dvc memebr because it meant that i was able to see her these past two yrs since I moved to Florida, otherwise I most likely would not have had the opportunity to see her before she passed away. The certificate they sent is great. it is a tri color folder, silver in color. On the front is an embossed image of the leave a legacy emblem. After opening the first part, the second flap has a quote from Walt Disney saying " To The Youngsters of Today, I Say Believe In The Future". The You turn that flap to fiind an transparent insert of the actual tile i ordered. It is ver nice looking. Ill see if i can scan it.

It sounds really nice. What a special thought for your Aunt.

Did I mention that I am completely jealous that you can just pop over to Epcot this weekend? I google-earthed Disney yesterday, over 800 miles away.

No, it takes several months before you see the picture on the plaques on the wall. I went to check for someone once on the DIS and was told by a CM that it takes several months before it is placed.
