I received magic from another visitor

My wife and I arrived on FRI morning, with the MK as our stop. We did the monorail trip to see all the resorts. At the Contemporary, we thought about lunch, looked at menus for the poly & grand, then went back to the Contempo Cafe for lunch. Wife went to wash hands while I stood in line to pay. A nice lady from Lincoln Neb tapped me on the shoulder and asked if she could buy our lunch. She was leaving in an hour, and their family is on the deluxe dining plan. They have 15 meals still, and she is loaded with snacks already. WELL, what a great surprise. We not only got our meal, but a drink & dessert. What a great start to our weekend trip.

OP, besides Disney Magic, you also experienced "Nebraska Nice". It is so common here that the state tourism department built their new slogan around it: "Visit Nebraska. Visit Nice."

I see; rereading OP again, makes sense. I was thinking the lady was leaving the park and giving, like we all used to do with unused paper fastpasses. Thanks for clarifying.

We had this happen to us once at CBR! Was such a nice bit of pixie dust coming from another traveler rather than a CM. It was nice to see that the magic truly was not limited to CM's only! We also paid it forward once. My son was still using a stroller for most days so had paid for one for length of stay. But, low and behold there were a couple of days he didn't think he needed it. So, on our last day we found a couple with 2 kids(had purchased the double a DS is very tall) and gave them 2 days worth of stroller tickets. They were so surprised. It made us feel really great to pay it forward, and fun to spread a bit of pixie dust ourselves

While very nice of her to offer, seems crazy someone would pay for the DDP and have that many credits left.
