I really shouldn't have done that, LOL

Ugh!!! Ok I now just woke up at about 4:00pm. I am still in that tired groggy faze. I finally finished it all. No more course work for a month!!! Of course the hardest part is waiting till your grades are calculated and posted.

Hope you got it all done #1 DF. I wish you a mountain of warm and fuzzy blankets and pillows when you finally get home tonight! :)

but then some friends got tickets to the Colts game so we went to that

we were there too!! where were you guys sitting?

In the nose bleed section! We were sitting in the upper level very close to were the screen was on the eastern side above the goal. (Can you tell I do not know much about stadium lingo?)Did you have a nice time at the game? That was the first Colts game we have been to. I think there could have been some more action going on, as it seemed to get boring at times. No one was taking chances it was just punt after punt.

matthew (DH) scored some tickets from where he works and we were down in club seats right around the 50 yard line!! it was way cool...that was my first ever pro football game too! i thought that it was alright..but i wouldn't pay $150 for the seat that i had on my own free will! but it was fun anyway...i would go again, but we'll be in the cheap seats unless the club seats are free again...:)

i keep forgetting that you are literally right down the road from me here...we may have seen each other and not realized it! ok...not likely, but it's a nice thought!!!

i feel like a thread hijacker here...i hope that you guys have gotten your much deserved rest after the grueling finals and projects and stuff!!! matthew's trying to convince me to go back to school, but i just can't make up my mind on what i would go for...we're looking into indiana wesleyan and their leap program. one night a week and it takes just as long as going to a university for a degree...maybe even less, depending on what you decide to pursue...are you guys in your final year of school?

Must feel wonderful to be finally all done and finished, Disney845. I'm just entering exams next week. Ugh.

Scarlett, my graduation date will probably be spring of 2004. I have 2 school terms left after this (this spring, and next spring... with an 8-month co-op work term in the middle). Next term will be one of the hardest/busiest though! Good luck in your decision to go back to school or not and don't let the thought of my all-nighters scare you too much, Engineering can sort of be an exception as it's pretty intense.

I'm certainly looking forward to that nice warm bed tonight! I am sooo tired!

Scarlett873- Sounds like you had much better seats than we did! ;) But we only paid about $15 for ours. I can not imagine spending $150 on tickets, I guess I just do not find football to be all that interesting. Is your husband a big Colts fan? I am not all that excited by them. I had been to one other pro game before, but it was the Miami Dolphins. ;)

I haven't really heard anything about Wesleyan, I have seen some of their buildings though off of 465. ;) Do you mind my asking what you do currently and if you already have a degree? I have taken some night classes and didn't find them to be very difficult. It is hard sometimes to stay alert for 3-3 1/2 hours after a long day doing other stuff though sometimes. Last semester I had one really horrible day a week as far as school was concerned (the other days were not this bad). I had a morning class at 8:25 which was 30 mins from home. Then I had two afternoon classes at 12:45 and 2:30 which were located an hour and fourty five minutes away from the first class. Then I had a 3 hour night class located back at the first facility. I was out of the house from about 7:30-9:30 this day (just school related) and had about a 150 mile commute.

I just recently decided to declare another major (much of my coursework was already heading towards this field and a double major was only going to be a few more classes than I was already taking). I am currently majoring in Political Science (where I am on the International Relations track) and Criminal Justice (my second major, which will only set me back about 1 summer session, that I hadn't been planning for). If all goes well, I will have my BA in both majors in December of 2003. Starting this upcoming semester, Spring 2003, I am considered a senior. This is of course where my planning has come to a stand still. I am not sure if I will go on to law school (that has been the plan since childhood) or pursue a masters degree in poly sci (which then brings up the difficult decision of what track to follow.....). The worst thing is that I am interested in so many things, and there are at least three other degrees that I am considerably interested in. I am afraid that I will be a perpetual student, racking up degrees in tons of different subjects and fields without actually applying any of them the anything practical (like earning me money!)

i did go to college right after high school...i was a music education major. i really wanted to be a music teacher...or so i thought! i grew up playing the viola and assumed that was the only thing that i could do, so that's what i did for about 3 years. i then realized that it just wasn't working for me...i had no inspiration left for it and i was burned out. so i decided to go to travel school. i finished that and began working at a hotel and eventually moved into a travel agency. i loved it there...was there for 4 years...then sept 11 happened and i had some personal situations arise, so i quit and moved away. when i came back to indiana, well, we all know how the travel industry is doing. needless to say, i am not working in my specialty...since i have no degree, i am a receptionist for a computer training center. it's a decent job...very relaxed and i don't have a lot to do during an 8 hour day, so i spend most of my day on the internet and DISing! DH is planning to go back to school...he wants to get his bachelor's in business information systems, i think. (computer stuff) he's trying to talk me into the same program but i'm not computer savvy enough to feel comfortable in that program. i'm going back and forth between accounting and business admin. i know that i need to get a degree...i just don't know what i want to do. this program that we are looking at though is one night a week and matthew will be done in 4 years, just as if he was attending a regular university with 15 credit hours a semester. i think what i'm looking at might be about the same length. i know i need to do it, it's just a matter of motivation!!

good luck to both of you with your schooling...and hang in there!!!

WOOHOOO!!!!!! Just checked my grades and found out that I had gotten an A on all three of Monday/Tuesdays exams. That means an A in all of those classes. The jury is still out on one class though. My cumulative exam scores are an A, but a huge paper made up a big percentage of the grade, and I have yet to find out how I did on the paper! Crossing my fingers for an A there as well. Got to keep up that 4.0!!!!

#1 DF, I hope that you are as successful with your Monday night hard work as I was!
