I Really Love Disney.......Have I Taken My Love Toooooooo Far????

Ok so I am a 32 year old mom and just love Disney sooooooooo much!!! LOL you know like we all do here at DIS!!!! I think my husband and children might be wondering if I am taking this toooooo far or have gone a little nuts .
In the past 2 in a half weeks I decided out of the blue that I was going to get some disney tattoos and decided that they would be small to start off. So I now have 3 tattoos in under 3 weeks. #1 tattoo is on my right shoulder and is Tinkerbell with her wand over the top of solid black Mickey Mouse ears with pixie dust sprinkles around her wand.....the tattoo artist did a wonderful job!!! #2 tattoo is on my left shoulder and is a heart with a few flowers wrapped around the heart itself and then right at the top looking at each other is Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.......a great job on that one as well!!! #3 tattoo is on my chest and is 2 hearts with a rose right in the middle of them and Tigger in the back of the hearts looking like he is looking over the hearts and he is wearing the famous Mickey Mouse ears hat that we all love to see in the parks........love it!!!! I told myself that was it but now I want more. So I had my tattoo guy draw up the castle from Disney World and off to the side add Sorcerer Mickey in full color with his wand pointed up like he is directing the fire works above the castle and then off on the opposite side of the castle in the air flying around in the fireworks is Dumbo. There is also an area below the path of the castle where off to the side Bambi is standing in a little patch of flowers looking at his tail with the butterfly and then right on the path way to the castle next to Bambi is Thumper laying on his back. This is a big tattoo more like a mural and I am having him put it on my back up high enough that you can see the fireworks right below my neck and so that he can add more Disney Characters in the months after I get the above Castle, Mickey, Dumbo, Bambi, Thumper added.
I figure I will have a mural of them all looking as if the are all there enjoying the fireworks show at the castle!!!
In some ways I feel a tad insaine for doing all of this but in others not even a bit!!! Can you tell I like Disney !!! Yep!!! Soon I guess I will be spotted at the park especially in the summer when I have to wear a tank top to stay cool. I know I am crazy but you only live life once and if I want to live my life loving Disney and showing it then so be it!
So I guess I just felt like sharing my crazyness on the boards. On another note we are really excited because we will be down there on the 12th of May....Yeah!!!!
Well iguess the wait is on for our visit in the mean time I will see how many more Disney tattoos I can add before we show up! LOL!

Wow a tattoo thread!!! I wish I had more time than I have to sit at my PC so I could find that thread!! I would be very interested to see if there are any pictures posted of Disney tattoos that people have.
If anyone can find the thread for the tattoos can you post the link in this thread so I can hop on over and take a looksy!!!

Don't know about the thread of tattoos, but my husband and I were on our Disney Cruise-Honeymoon at the same time as this guy was on the cruise. Was a big head turner! 1900 tattoos, all Disney. He even has some of cast members!

I don't think you've taken your love for Disneyland too far...as long as you don't name your children after Disney characters or rides...you're not crazy. I think it would be cool to take some pics of some of your tattoos and post them.

Oh yes I have seen this guy!! Amazing!! I would not do them all over every inch like him but I do plan on doing the good size tribute on my back.....enough for a girl....you know what I mean??

I do admire his love for Disney!

I have to say that I am sad with all my tattoos I have yet to get my Disney inspired one's yet. But that is mostly because I am not ready to get my full back piece started just yet. But when I do I will have quite a few of my favorite characters on my skin.

So no you are not alone!

The problem with tattoos is that they are addictive. Once you have one, you start thinking about the next one you want to have done. And on it goes. Just be careful to put sunscreen on them when you are out in the sun over the summer. If you get burnt, you can lose some of the colour. I've had a couple of my tattoos for 10 years, and they still look greyt as I've taken care of them. I've got 3, of 2 of which are fairly large, and have many compliments over the years about them. The most important thing is that you are happy with them, as you are the one that will be wearing them for many years to come.

I don't have any Disney tats but I do have a butterfly on my back. I love it!! I want another one but haven't figured out what or where. I read this post last night and there was another one yesterday about getting a Disney tat that I read. On that thread I said I wouldn't get one but the more I think about it the more I think a Tink tat might be really cute.......LOL I'd love to see pics of yours when you have time.

I would like to get a tatty for my 3 kids and i think a disney charecter would be great... but i would ahve to either pick out one that would work for all 3 or get 3 diffrent ones... i was thinking about getting the kids 3 initals NME on my wrist or going down my arm so maybe i can work with that... maybe i could do each letter big with a charecter peeking out behind each??? he i like that idea

i have a hatchetman on my arm, i know i want my wolf tat but i havent found a perfect one. and I do want a pirates one that or tink (maybe both together and some where id have my sons name)Also want a cross of some sort with my pent but i think it will be with my wolf in her eyes) but im only 23 got my tat when i was 20 i think lol and I don t know when or where to get the others yet..but I dont think its bad, your not nuts

Well since I have Tink on my ankle and Eeyore on the other and have plans to get Pooh, Tigger, Piglet around the rest of the ankle that has Eeyore and will get more on the other with Tink once I figure out what, I really don't think your nuts lol.

Dh even has Fireman Mickey with the fire hose, and hydrant on his arm.

If I can figure out where to put one of all the princesses I will be getting that one too lol

I got my first (and only) tatoo when I was 18 and I got Mickey on my shoulderblade - I figured he was the only thing I knew i would love no matter how old I got!

my dh has mickey mouse on his inner ankle and i have one on my ankle but it's not disney. i want to think of something to do with our dd's name and disney. i know i want it on the same ankle but outer. i love tattoos!!
