My co-worker/friend is going into the Air Force. He just left for basic training last week, and I'm really worried.
He's not the usual military 'type'. To be honest he's kind of a dork, lol. He tall and gangly and has a weird laugh. I'm worried if he's cut out for it, but mostly I'm just worried about the usual things. This is a tough time to decide to go into the military, he's brave for it.
He also JUST got married last month (they're both very young) and so I'm also worried about his wife, she is also a co-worker.
To keep everyone kind of light hearted about it, he told us to just focus on what he'll be like when he comes back. I just cannot imagine him with the haircut, and the stance, and everything..different. It's a funny picture in my head.
Sorry about rumbling on, it just kind of hit me how much I am actually worried about him. So could you guys maybe put him in your thoughts? He doesn't really 'have' anyone besides his new wife, I can't imagine how much he must be missing her.
