I put in a request to Samantha Brown to feature more Disney hotels on 'Great Hotels'

on the travel channel. I still haven't seen many of the deluxes and I think she should feature the moderates and values - after all... they are still nicer and more $ than many of the non-Disney hotels they feature!

Let's hope they listen to me!

Samantha Brown is so perfect for those shows. I think it would be difficult *NOT* to like her. Yes, I agree, we also want to see more Disney Hotels !

I was sooo thrilled when I saw her at the AKL in 2001 (two weeks after 9/11)- she even was so generous to give an autograph. She's just as down to earth and sweet as she is on the shows. Has she done GF? I'd love to see her there or at one of the Moderates.- it'd be a hoot to see her at All Stars- she could make it look like the Taj Mahal with her expressions!

It's funny, I was just thinking last night about how she should do a show for both the Polynesian and Contemporary. It may be a longshot to expect her to do any moderates, but I suppose it could be a possibility. I hope she sees your letter and responds!

it needs to be requested to re-make the Y&B club show, the resorts are totally renovated since then. The rooms look nothing like in the show....

I read on the DisneyDollarless list that Samantha Brown was recently at DL working on an episode featuring the Grand Californian. I think it was in June.

I read on a Discovery channel board...from Samantha herself...that they are doing a Disney Christmas one hour show.

Right now...they are filming in the west, and northwest.

She said it is unlikely she would do the Poly...she would rather do "real" Hawaii.

I don't think they will ever do the moderates, though a special is never out of the question!

I would seriously doubt that Great Hotels would do anything but a "deluxe" type of resort, but how about an episode or two devoted to the DVC resorts.

I think the only time that I have seen a DVC resort was shoehorned into the WL episode.

I totally agree with a previous poster in that the BC/YC episode should be re-shot. Maybe at that time they could also do a BWI episode.

She has done the GF as someone else mentioned, the next one to be aired for the GF will be on Aug.25,2003 at 3:30pm

She does occasionally do moderate type resorts. Did anyone see the one for $71 a night? The room had no carpet and it was REALLY plain. Not my style at all. Kind of modern.
