I was a little shocked that I passed the science.I am so excited, because I really took this test spur of the moment and only had about a week to study.
I feel like I may have a chance although it is very competetive, I have experienced that I think will help.
Just wanted to share.

Congratulations! I know how happy I was when I passed my TEAS (used as the nursing entrance exam at my school) on the first try without studying, since I also did it on a whim and am so glad I did - I'm halfway through my first semester of ADN school :)

Good Luck!

:cool1: Congrats... my mom's been a nurse for over 30 years and it is a great profession.:goodvibes

Congratulations!!:cheer2: Nursing was my life before I changed to being a PA!! Loved it!! What are you going to concentrate on?

I hope that you get the spot you are applying for :)! I just graduated from nursing school in December (ADN) and passed my state boards last week :yay:.

Wonderful!

Like they say to the superbowl winners, "What are you going to do to now?",

"Go to Disney World!!"

Good Job!
I am currently a LPN student and I thought I would never make this far! I go to class 3 x a week from 5:30 - 9:30 and every other Sat and Sunday for clinical and we are considered part time! So it next June for the fininsh line for me.

Are you planning on going on to your RN? I am not sure where you live here in upstate NY LPN are limited too being a med nurse in nursing home, or a working in a dr's office. I have heard LPN's are used much more down south?

Anyways good luck! :wizard:

Thank you all so much! I knew there were some nurses on the board! And yes, LOLOL, I am going to WDW in FOUR DAYS! What timing!!
I am trying not to get too excited, because I need to have an interview now, and it is very, very competetive. And yes, my plan is to matriculate at the local community college to RN if I get in and accomplish this, but to me this was the hard part!
Thanks again!

CONGRATULATIONS, KELLY!! That is awesome, you must be beyond thrilled. I am sure it was stressful, but worth it!

Yes, you must feel such a sense of accomplishment. I have found that being back in school too, that I have felt so nervous, but then pass something and such relief, it is such a cycle! Continued luck on your journey!! Yes, I know an LPN cant do much here either, but this is a step to my ultimate goal.
