Anyone purchase this? Reviews needed it $129 but Staples has a $50 instant rebate plus a $30 mail in rebate. o that makes it $49.

I just bought a dvd burner. My suggestion would be not to buy burner software. I spent $170 on software, then found out I could download it all for free on the internet.

Where did you find that you could download it for free???

I would love to be able to switch all of our home videos to DVD. Thanks

go to google, do a search for burner software, or dvd shrink, burnatonce, you should find lots.
I bought DVDXCOPY and I'm still having problems with it. As for doing VHS to DVD, I haven't taught myself how to do that yet!

I bought an I/O Magic DVDRW drive a while ago. It was a bear to install. Windows didn't detect it right, even after a full OS reinstall and reinstalling the drive. I gave up and exchanged it for a Memorex DVDRW drive. I had the Memorex drive installed in less than 15 minutes! :)
