Hi!

You could consider an Intimate Wedding if you are on a budget. A reception is not included, but you and your guests could go to the restaurant of your choice after the wedding.

Also, certain days of the week such as Monday - Thursday are less expensive than the weekend as well as certain times of the year (you would have to check on those specific times).

Buffet may or may not be more expensive. Also most venues have a minimum per person amount you must spend regardless of the type of food.

The floral can be that much. My bouquet is not quite that much and I know you can get them done for less, depending on flowers, style, etc.

You do not pay a fee to your coordinator, however, it is nice to give them a special gift for being so involved in your special day.

hi ok me and my boyfriend have been 2gether for almost 3 years, and we are not officially engaged yet, but we want to have our wedding in disney, but we are kinda on a budget..maybe someone could just answer a few questions i have:

#1 IF WE HAVE BUFFET IS IT CHEAPER, AND CAN WE PICK THE FOOD WE WANT ON THE BUFFET?

#2 ARE THE FLOWERS ON THE WISH BOOK REALLY THAT EXPENSIVE, OR IS IT JUST AN ESTIMATE?

#3 DO YOU HAVE TO PAY YOUR COORDINATOR AN EXTRA FEE OR IS THAT INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU PAY

Buffets may or may not be cheaper than plated meals. It really depends on what you serve. Each venue has a minimum food & beverage expenditure that you must meet based on location and time of day. As long as you meet your minimum, then you can do either a buffet or a plated meal. You can completely customize your menu or select from Disney’s sample menus. You can even give them a family recipe and have them recreate it if you’d like. :)

Some of the flower prices in the wishbook are pretty realistic (like bridal bouquets), and some are more over the top than you have to do (like reception centerpieces). Disney is really good at working within a floral budget. They can use more greenery and less expensive flowers to make things a bit more affordable.

You do not pay your coordinator—that is included in the cost of the wedding. However, many brides get them a small token of appreciation like a gift basket or gift certificate.
