In just 10 short months we will be back for 10 days in the parks plus Disney Springs. what do YOU recommend and why? We are staying at the Contemporary and don't really want to eat at another resort. Just parks and the Springs. We want to do different restaurants this time. I lost Jungle navigation and Morimoto Asia when Irma hit. We will have to do Chef Mickey's at least once for the kids and California Grill for us. Here is where we have eaten at Disney World.

Disney Springs:
Wolfgang Pucks Dining Room
T-Rex

Magic kingdom:
Caseys
The Plaza
Tony's
Cinderellas Castle
Be Our Guest
Star Light
Diamond Horse Shoe
Crystal Palace
Pesco Bill's
The Friar's Nook

Epcot:
Garden Grill
Electric Umbrella
Akershus
Coral Reef
La Hacienda
Tokyo Dining

Hollywood Studios:
50's Prime Time
Sci-Fi Dine-In

Animal Kingdom:
Rainforest Cafe
Satu"li Canteen
Yak and Yeti Restaurant

All the restaurants at Contemporary.

So, DIS members, what do you recommend that is NOT on our list of what we have ate? and why do you recommend it? and...... GO! Oh yeah ... Our girls will be 7 and 4 when we return.

Had Crystal Palace for breakfast and dinner. Yak and Yeti for dinner. Heard good things about Flame Tree and Rose and Crown. Thanks!

I don’t see the Biergarten on your list.

Do you have interest in eating at the boardwalk?

its not on my list because I haven't eaten there lol The list is what we have eaten before. and no board walk. we've been and honestly it was boring to us. Our kids want to be in the parks.

How did you "lose" Jungle Navigation and Morimoto's? Were they damaged or something? I have Jungle Navigation for my Feb visit, so it's definitely not a permanent thing if so.

I read it to mean he didn't get to use his ADR's because the parks/DS were closed for a few days during Irma.

Liberty Tree Tavern was very good at our last trip, and I also liked Art Smiths Homecoming at Disney Springs, the chicken was delicious but the Hummingbird Cake was to die for. I know you didn't want to eat at resorts but the Wilderness Lodge is just a short boatride away from the Contemporary or the MK and Whispering Canyon was so much fun.

Irma came on the days we had it reserved. The trade off was another meal at California Grill so not all was lost.

We were disappointed with Morimoto. I mean, it was good, but we weren't blown away. Cowfish at Universal was 100 times better.

I vote Biergarten! Grapefruit beer and apple strudel with vanilla bean sauce... :thumbsup2

We’ve enjoyed Via Napoli, Le Cellier & Tusker House (breakfast) on past trips. Tusker House had good selection and the characters were great. Via Napoli was yummy pizza, and Le Cellier was delicious.

We like to pick new restaurants for our trips too...I have ours booked for April and only 1 repeat from previous trips. Should be fun!

If you’ve never eaten at Ohana, I’d recommend dinner there if you can get a reservation. I know you didn’t want a resort meal though

We are branching out this time. It’s easier with the kids being older. They can stay up later so we can do later dinner at resorts without having to leave the parks early
