I have been over and over our first day plan, and cannot decide, so I need your expertise:

We are at WDW on Monday, May 9th - and will be checking in early - so they'll hold our bags?

Do you head straight for MK? Do Epcot early hours? Go to Typhoon Lagoon? MGM?

Stipulations: sometime in early afternoon, I'm hoping we can actually get to our rooms to settle in.

We have a PS at Hollywood and Vine at 4PM, we'll stay at MGM until after Fantasia.

Tuesday will be a MK day all day long
Weds (Regis and Kelly day at MK) - PS at Cindy's bfast, ride a ride or two while show is taping, then head to Animal Kingdom until after Jungle Parade, back to hotel to eat, relax, to MK late hours if feel up to it.

Thursday - (RandK day at MK too) - this day will be whatever we don't start off with on our first day. Then to EPCOT for evening Magic hours

Friday - MK day until after PS at Crystal Palace at 4, then over to Disney Quest

Saturday - Blizzard Beach - relaxing at hotel

Sunday - covers whatever we didn't hit Monday or Thursday.

Any big advice or errors I did? What do you recommend?

As to your specific question about arrival day, I would say do one of the following:

1) get started at MGM (especially if you are ina resort close to MGM)

2) Enjoy BB until time for your PS

Personally, I HAVE to go to the MK on my first day. That's the place I feel the most "home" - and it just starts off my trip in the best way. I'd probably go to MK, ride a couple of my favorite rides, have lunch, call the resort & see if my room is ready. When it's ready - head back to resort to settle in, freshen up & then head back out to MGM for my PS and a night of fun there.

ETA - I wouldn't do a water park on that first day, b/c you never know what time your room will be ready & you'll probably want to shower or at least freshen up/change before you go to MGM for your PS.
