i need your help!

Hi all,

I am attempting to make a birthday cake with an edible image on top of the perfect disney world picture. of course now that im looking for that picture, i cant seem to find it. i have some ideas in mind, such as the picture of the castle in the beginning of disney movies, or a sorcerer mickey with the park symbols swirled around him, or maybe even a thomas kinkade painting.

on a side note, the sides of the cake will be covered in rainbow sprinkles, so colorful is good. im also kind of obsessed with the blue-purple disney uses alot (think princess and the frog scenes, sorcerer mickey scenes, or fireworks over cinderella castle)

i hope im making sense lol... for all you creative disneyholics out there, please give me some ideas!!

Hi Lilolo, Are you making this cake yourself for home or are you talking about a cake being made at WDW for someone during your visit?

I am sorry I haven't ever made a cake with an edible edible image myself, but I have had them made both in my home town and at WDW. If you are thinking of doing something with a bakery you just have to take a picture in to the bakery or scan and e-mail them the picture. I had an 80th birthday cake done for my father-in-law a couple of years ago. It was a picture of him sitting at the controls of plane he flew during his 30 year Air Force career. It turned out amazing! He LOVED it!

You may want to take a look at the Creative Board on here. Start a thread over there. I am sure someone will be alone to help you out. There is also a cake thread somewhere on the DIS. If I find it I will come back and post a link for you.
