OK.....
I don't think we are really into character meals. Did that once on cruise...kids don't even speak of it..plus they all look like buffets, which are OK, but I'd rather have a GREAT meal than abundance.

OK...
--Mickey's BBQ/Hoop De Doo/Luau---WHICH is best? Worth 2 TS if my kids are not REALLY into characters? (they like them OK, just not nuts...)
--Rose & Crown for Illuminations? (menu not that impressive...BUT beer is always good....) Is this worth it?
--Mama Melrose for Fantasmic (or H & V?--again, not a big buffet fan)
--Boma (yes, a buffet, but sounds too interesting to pass up; and we MUST see AKL anyway as DS7 is an animal FREAK!)
--Chef de France (I LOVE French food...)
--Le Cellier (menu looks yummy, lots of ressies here, repeat customers, so I guess good reviews)
--Coral Reef?? (we LOVE seafood...but frankly the menu doesn't WOW me)
--Wolfgang Pucks?? (maybe just DH & I in DTD? We have done Spago & didn'g love it; generally like all his other restaurants)
--Capt Jacks?? (Lobster is on the menu...can you order it w/ DDP?)
--BEST TS in MK??? (for pre-MNSSHP)

I have been looking all over the web & my passporter trying to narrow our choices...my 180 days is Sat!!! (is it still true that resort guests can book 10 days PRIOR to this....like when it was 90 days prior??????IF SO, I better get on it!)

Sorry so long...I feel like I have a ton of info & I am struggling to narrow the field!

I believe for resort guests the rule is you can call 180 days prior to your check-in date and then make ADRs for up to 10 days at once (as opposed to having to make up to 10 different calls 180 days in advance of each day you want to dine).

Mickey's BBBQ/HDDR/Luau - Can't speak to the food but IMHO just on an economic basis it's hard to justify 2 TS credits
R&C - just remember beer is not covered under the DDP; you'll have to pay your beer tab out of pocket
Boma - MAJOR thumbs up-A must do
Le Cellier - books fast - not CRT fast but still fast
MNSSHP - LTT will book fast. Can't speak to the food though. We are going to MNSSHP on 9/28 and since I had planned for us to be at Epcot that day, we are doing dinner at Coral Reef, then we'll monorail it to MK for MNSSHP. If you will already be at MK, you could hop to one of the GF/CR/Poly TS's if none of the MK ones grab you.

THANK YOU for some input!
Yeah, I know beer isn't included...but at least it it available!
I like your ideas about dinner at Epcot before & monorail over...Epcot has quite a few interesting TS choices!
