Does anyone know if Disney allows high school students to job shadow their employees? I know that college students can, so I was wondering if high school students can, too. I would love to job shadow a pastry chef for my senior project, because I think that they are AMAZING! My dad and I are possibly coming down during Thanksgiving break, and I would love to possibly do it then. I've been searching for a phone number to call to learn information on this, but no one seems to be able to help me :( If anyone knows anything about this, please help me out!! Thanks for your time!

Um...I don't want to say absolutly no, but the company actually doesn't even allow CPs to shadow anymore. They really don't like it--even though it does happen. You aren't supposed to be able to do it, because it's such an enormous liability for them, and can sometimes just end up being a big waste of time. It took a lot of talking, planning, and schedule changes for my friend to shadow his own manager on Main Street.

I'm not sure if it is still available, but your best bet would be to get a hold of Casting, specifically College Recruiting. Just call 407 WDW DISNEY. Ask the operator for them....or ask the operator where she thinks you should be connected.

Sorry, it doesn't really sound like I know what I'm talking about, but I kinda do. I'm working on my own shadows--it's not easy.

And they prefer to call this whole process--if it does happen--a Meet and Greet...not shadowing.
