I am in an Educational Technology class (taking a couple of extra classes to determine if I really want to get a PHd or not!) and really need your help!!

We were just assigned a picture (see below) and have to do something clever with it. Using photoshop we have put the picture we were given into a different picture. Now, I am at a total loss for what to do.. Here is my picture:

The only thing I can think of is the traditional wedding event- the dove release but I feel like this dove would look stupid in a picture like that.

So, any ideas? I'm stumped! Thanks so much! :cheer2:

I cannot see your picture and only students can see the link you posted.

agnes!

Oh dear.. Thank you for letting me know! I will work on that! :)

EDIT: Can you see the picture now?

Great- So, any creative takers?

I thought of maybe a Turtled Dove? But I have no idea how I'd go about doing that...

Hoping for some suggestions! I know- weird thread and weird project. Ugh. :)

Perhaps split it into a mirror image with 2 heads, Or many bodies,
Working in layers maybe add a sky, how about a night sky...
Work with a POE for evermore theme. and get the creature more Raven like.

I had a gf took a beach unbrella in a garbage can at the shore and it came out looking like melted caryons.

the first thing I thought of was to superimpose the bird over cars....ala Godzilla .....

i hope this make sense.

change it to a night scene, with the moon in the background.

scoot the bird over to the middle of the picture.

duplicate the branch a little lower, and place a mouse on it. so it looks like the bird is hunting in the middle of the night, with it's eye on it's prey.

Put a scuba helmet on him and put him under the sea.

That bird looks pissed.

What would make a bird pissed? Maybe looking at a birdfeeder where the squirrels were eating all the birdseed?

I like the Godzilla idea and the Tiki Room idea to. I also like the idea of somehow sitting a turtle on the branch with the dove and calling it "TurtleDove".

Maybe it's just because I did Valentine's hearts with symmetry with my students today but....the curve under the birds beak and chest is like half a heart. Could you duplicate the bird and flip the image and put them right next to each other so it makes a heart? And then you can put it in some sort of romantic background or something? Don't really know where to go from there I just thought the heart thing might be cool.

That bird looks pissed.
:lmao:I know!!

He's super grumpy looking which is why he clearly wouldn't work for the romantic Dove release or anything Noah's Ark related!

I just emailed my professor and asked if it would be acceptable to use the Tiki Room for my project-- she seems rather..err, stuffy, and I don't want her to think I'm silly- especially if she's not a Disney fan!!

You guys are GREAT!!!! Thanks so much for the ideas and keep them coming if you've got them!! I can't thank you all enough!! :worship::grouphug:

I will for sure!!

The first think that came to my 13yodd's mind was to do something with the branch. Have something sitting on it as a focal point along with the background.

She said little Keebler elves eating cookies.:lmao:

I always go to her for pic advice since she is always making up stuff on the computer.

How about changing the head out for the head of another animal, like a puppy or a dinosaur?

I'd totally put it in a picture of something from Disney World! Maybe Cinderella Castle.

I took that same Ed Tech course... we had to do something similar. I at least got to pick what I wanted to do. I used an oboe and oboe reeds -- since not that many knew what they were to begin with it was pretty easy.

As for bird.. night sky might be easy.
