I need trip ideas!

Oh, the Philly Zoo is lovely! It's one of my all-time favorites. It's not big--the city grew up around it, and it's made of stone walls/buildings. Expansion isn't in the cards, but they make the most of the space they have. It's cool and shady, they have a wide variety of animals, and it's a great place to go for a few hours here and there. The snow leopard is my absolute favorite (more of them at the Bronx Zoo).

We are doing the same thing and actually going away for Christmas. We are going to Hilton Head Island for 11 days. It is one of our favorite places and we are driving from Massachusetts. We rent a villa or house and spend the time on the beach walking or biking, biking all the bike paths, shopping and eating out. My husband and son will play golf and we will hopefully just enjoy some warmer sunshine than we would have here in MA at that time of year.

My kids are all in their early to mid 20’s and decided they would rather do this than gifts. I will take any time I can get with them!
