I need to share

I just had to post this with people who would understand our obession. I redid our bathroom last night in disney. It looks so cool. I paint with a light blue and then took a dark blue and sponged mickey ears all over my bathroom. I also framed two pictures from our disney vacation and hung them on the wall. Anyhow I just needed to share with people who understand me.

I don't see anything wrong with it.

My mom (75) has a Mickey bathroom. It's painted in a pale pink and there's a border with Mickey heads. The knobs on her bathroom closet and vanity are silver Mickey heads and her towels are white and pink (with Mickey heads). Very nicely done.

Good for you! It sounds neat. I'm in the process of turning my office/craft room into Disney Central, but it's only a matter of time before I spread into the rest of the house!

I really want to do the new Pirates of the Caribbean theme from Home Depot in my boys' room...!

I TOTALLY understand! I have turned one of our spare bedrooms into a vacation room and have lots of pictures of the resorts, rides, and characters on the walls. I also have alot of framed pictures of our family taken in the parks. My pin collection is displayed on a board on one wall. Knobs on dresser are Mickey and friends that I picked up at WDW.I have 2 shelf units with keepsakes out that I can look at and enjoy. I keep my scrap booking stuff in the closet of this room and have a table in there to work on vacation and kids albums surrounded by my favorite place on Earth. I can go into this room and totally de-stress. I know you will enjoy your bathroom and bet it doesn't stop there.

sounds awesome...I wish I could decorate disney..my mom would have fit if I did now, and when I move out with my BF I don't think he is going to allow it either

I say congratulations! We are in the process of doing a "Mickey" kitchen/breakfast area. We picked up alot of stuff at Disney in Feb (potholders, towels, dishes, accessories, etc.) and are going red, white, and black. All of our cabinets, appliances, and furniture are white so we are doing the walls red (and I do mean Mickey red ) but because we have so many white cabinets we don't think the red will be too overpowering. My daughter's room is already done in Pooh. Luckily, my husband is on board with this and doesn't think I am crazy. I wonder if I can convince him to let Mickey spread to the bathroom....

check out the disney bathroom stuff available on disneyshopping.com. They have awesome stuff, especially the black and white being featured. I have hemmed and hawwed with the same idea- my husband is dead set against it- like I really care, lol...

Oh, Lucky you!
My home office is Disney, LOVE IT!!!! Atleast going to work in a room I like being in is a definite +!
What a great idea about taking the pin collection and displaying it. I think I am going to get some type of shadow box and make a display, Oh, can't wait!

Last weekend I decided to re-paint my mailbox, you know the typical white one. Well, I took out the acrylics and painted some lush flowers and vines and put in a green field along the bottom. Came out cute!
Around the bottom of the mailbox post are Verigated Hosta, the green and white tipped ones, transported from my late mom's home, so they are SPECIAL!
SO, it comes to me....... I run inside, and took a Tinkerbell decal I had (the large 6-8" ones for kids rooms) and placed it at the bottom of the post, just peeking out above the Hosta. I figure, it was an extra I had and if it stays for a week, I'd be happy.
Well, hubby comes home and says UH OH, the Disney thing has now gone outside your office? And I just SMILED! He says I am Disney crazed, (YEAH!) and he's definitely not crazed, but certainly indulges me quite well!
Well, Tink stays and I'm happy! I smile each time I go past the mailbox now

OH!!! Tinkerbell on the mailbox sounds fun. I haven't taken Disney outside yet.

FYI- The Disney pins that I collect to keep are displayed on a 16 1/2 x 22 in. framed cork board. The frame is purple metal. They had several colors to choose from. I think I got it at Target. I just push the pins in and can rearrange the board as the collection grows.

We have a Disney bathroom too! I purchased a Mickey shower curtain from Disneyshopping along with shower hooks and white Mickey-head rug. Then DH bought Disney character stickers to put on the wall. So, now every time we use our bathroom we think "Disney". Our living room is also filled with Disney things. Every trip, DH likes to get a framed drawing of a Disney character personalized with our names and year. We have 4 of them so far on our wall along with a mickey clock I bought in MK last year and of course our Disney collage picture frames!

that is too funny! we just redid our bathroom in Jan. all in Mickey! it's red, black, and yellow. The funny thing is, my husband does'nt even argue about it anymore, he knows that when it comes to Disney, I will always win!
