I need to do something with Mom's Powerchair

I have a red jazzy powerchair that belonged to my Mom. She used it probably a total of 30 times before she passed away. It has been sitting in my house for a few years because I couldn't handle with disposing of it. The battery is dead, but other than that it is in excellent condition.

I am wondering if this is something I might be able to sell or donate or what my options might be and I am just not sure where to even begin. I would rather this chair be doing some good rather than sitting here gathering cobwebs.

Any suggestions?

You could contact a local church. They may know of someone in need. That is what we did with my Moms chair.

When my mom passed away, the local office on aging was happy to take donations of anything I had to give, including open packages of adult diapers, hearing aids, and hearing aid batteries. I received a nice thank you letter. In addition to the small items, they would take any kind of durable medical equipment such as inflating mattresses, hospital beds, walkers, potty chairs, wheelchairs, and powerchairs.

Another place might be a Veteran's group.
