Would someone PLEASE come vacuum my house for me!? :teeth: It's my least favorite chore. I ordered a Roomba and canNOT wait until it gets here.

After they are done with your house they can come over to mine!

I'll come vacuum your house, if you will come do my laundry! :rotfl2: I can never keep up and I hate folding it and putting it away. :crazy2:

Let me know how you like your Roomba. I'm thinking of getting one.

I may lock 'em up in a closet. :teeth:

Update: I've vacuumed 6 rooms...only 4 more to go. Ugh.

Sounds like a better deal for me. It's probably warmer in Louisiana than it is hear in Maryland. :sunny:

Who knows with our crazy weather...It's in the 40s one day and 70s the next. :confused3

Roomba came today and...*drumroll please*...we love it! :worship: DH has even offered to vacuum from now on. :rotfl:

Now, maybe I can talk those people that make Roombas to make Roomba husbands and kids..... :cool1:

They do make the one for the kitchen floor so you won't have to mop! I'd decided to get one, but then found out they can't be used on laminate floors. :sad1: I love my Roomba, though, and use it every day.

DH got me a Roomba for a Christmas..but he really got it for himself.
Vacumming the family room is the one job I've always asked him to do & now at night or early in the morning I hear the Roomba roaming around the family room. Well, it's made his life easier. :)

Does the Roomba work on both carpet and hard surfaces?

How often does your Roomba get stuck? That's what I worry about. I don't want to create more work for myself. :sunny: I can't tell you how many gadgets I've bought that never really worked out the way I planned. :teeth:

Well, it looks like I'm now out of a job. Oh well , you could still come to my house to do the laundry! :rotfl:

We've had our Roomba for 3 years and it's been wonderful. It does occasionally get stuck, but I generally know wher it gets stuck and can either avoid it getting stuck there or run it there when I'm home so I can listen for it getting stuck. IE, in our family room it sometimes gets stuck under one of the sections of our sectional sofa. I can put a book under there so it doesn't get wedged. Usually I take my chances and it doesn't get stuck. Yes, it can go on hard floors and carpeting.

The company has the best customer service than any company I've ever dealt with. When one stops working they send a fix or a replacement, even past the warranty period. They are amazing!

Awwwwwww, no laminate? Shoot. Well, I have a lot of tile too.

Roomba does really well on both carpet and hard surfaces. We have a short shag type carpet and it really does well. The battery runs down quicker on our carpet than on our tile or laminate, but it's because are carpet is so thick. Our Roomba hardly gets stuck and when it does it's on thing that we should have picked up. If Roomba is in our bedroom and I have to go to our closet and move my scrub pants with drawstrings to the upper rod, but that's really about it.
