I am taking my DD8 to Disney for her birthday in Jan. She doesn't know anything about it as it will be her bday surprise.

Any suggestions??

We're going to be there for DD8's 9th bday as well, in January :thumbsup2 For that day we're having lunch at CRT. We've not eaten there yet, but I decided to try it for this trip.

Is there any way you can sneakily ask her? Does she know you DIS? What if you asked her where she would want to go if her birthday if she was going to pick? Play it that a poster is having a hard time deciding where their DD would like to eat for their special birthday meal.

You're welcome to use my own DD as the ploy, if you want. We already have ressies, but now I'm curious to see what her choice is. :cutie:

We were just in WDW earlier this month on my DD's 13th b-day.

That day we did:
CRT for breakfast
Princess dinner in Norway

After dinner, we took an Illumminations Cruise & had a b-day cake on the boat (I'd pre-ordered it).

She had a great time & esp. fell in love with our waiter at dinner in Norway.
Honestly!!

**We were staying at the Beach Club & I'd also arranged for her to get a manicure there.

I asked DD and she said 'ohana. Or WCC. Unfortunately for her we're not going to either. :scared:

We did Cinderella's Gala Feast at the Grand Floridian Cafe for DD6's birthday dinner and it was wonderful. Better than if it had been in its usual buffet location, I think, and the cake from the GF bakery was just as good as everyone says it is! I ordered one with fresh strawberries & custard between layers, and it was perfect - not too sweet and very fresh and light.

For DS9's birthday in January, I have a reservation at Artist Point, because he's dying to try the wild game on their menu. I'm not thrilled with the cake options there, but DS doesn't have DD's sweet tooth so an awesome custom cake it isn't as important for his b-day.

We will be celebrating DD7 8th birthday on our December trip. We have a BBB appointment first thing in the am. CRT for lunch and Chef Mickey's for dinner. Hope your DD has a wonderful birthday.
