We are sneaking in another trip at Christmas time this year. Going back to the Poly...whoohoo..

Anyhow I am at a loss on what to do for meals. Our last trip (just got back) we did Chef Mickey's, O'hana, Princess Storybook Breakfast, Cindy's (last minute due to hurricane cancellations), Whispering Canyon, and the Luau.

They were all fabulous but I found that the dinner ressies on our 8-03 trip were too early so we felt rushed in the afternoon and this last trip I made them for around 8pm and we found we were missing things like Wishes and Illuminations.

I was thinking we should pick just one favorite and maybe a new experience (we are going for 5 nights) and then wing the rest.

So I'm needing some suggestions on a new experience. It will be myself, my husband, our girls 3yrs old.

Some suggested times would be great as I haven't seemed to work that out in the past.

Thanks

What about Garden Grill? You could make a late lunch, maybe that would be better? It's really hard to pick times for meals 90 days ahead of time! I made my PS and tried to guess as best I could, we shall see!

I was thinking of Garden Grill.

I know what you mean about picking so early out. This last trip we made one for everyday but when the time came we found we either weren't hungry or not hungry for what we were having for dinner.

I did just make ressies for Liberty Tree Tavern the night we are going to MVMCP. I think that will be fun. We've never been there.

Just looking for possibly one more breakfast or dinner. I know the girls love the PSB might do that one as our favorite.

Ahh..decisions, decisions.

My wife and I are big fans of the meals -- both b'fast and dinner! -- at 1900 Park Fare. (The strawberry soup and bread pudding are to die for  )

And there is nothing -- absolutely nothing -- to compare with the Grand Floridian done up in all its holiday finery.

We were there a couple weeks before Christmas in '99, and they had chestnuts roasting outside, and bellringers doing their thing inside. We felt like we were in Dicken's London!

Go and enjoy:wave:

Did you try Kona Cafe? We all loved it so much during our last stay at the Poly that we ate there 4 times! I love the lunch...Pan-Asian Pasta YUM!!

I like House of Blues at DTD. The prices are good, and those Elwood sandwiches...I have to get one every trip.

Kungaloosh!
Morticia.

Since you've eaten at many of the places I want to try when we go at X-mas (Ohana's, Whispering Canyon, PSB), I wonder if you might give me your opinion as to whether or not Ohana would be a good choice for X-mas Day. DH, DD 8, DD 12, and me.
