On hair products!

Usually I just straighten or blow dry my hair. From previous trips, I know that's not enough! There are so many times I'm usually throwing my hair up in a ponytail by an hour in and I'm not as crazy about those photos...

My hair is a bit long as it goes past my shoulders by a few inches. I have wavy hair that is usually very easy going until we hit Florida and suddenly the body of my hair is massive! I swear it's like it grows a few levels! Hehe.

When I'm there I'll be bring my blow dryer and straightener but I need some advice on some product I could use to help it keep a bit more sleek and manageable.

Thanks!:goodvibes

I know all too well how you feel.

Growing up in FL, I always felt like my hair was as big as a wad of cotton candy. It looked ok, right after blow drying it, but outside for 30 min and it was up.

Now, I use a dab of John Friedia De-Frizz syrum, or the Silk while my hair is wet. I only put it on the bottom 2/3rd, not my roots What really helps mine a lot is make sure it's totally dry through and through. I use an Ionic Brush with a metal barrel and I dry it root to tip with an hair dryer that has an angeled nossel.

I don't flat iron much ever, over the years I've learned how to work the brush and blow dry to do what I want it to

Yeah last year when I went to Disney World I tried the John Frieda anti-frizz serum and it didn't seem to help me much. My wavy/curly hair still took over and added more volume than one person could ever need!:lmao:

I find my biggest problem is that there isn't much humidity where I live so if I tested out any products here, it would not even be close to the conditions found in beautiful Orlando.

Anybody have luck with Fructis Garnier Sleek & Hold anti-humidity hair spray? Or Aussie's 12 hour anti-humidity hair spray?

Of course feel welcome to suggest any other products.
