Now that the hot weather of summer is behind us I need to replace my ice cream and popsicle snacks for something else as I know longer crave them. But I definitely need a sweet treat each day to keep me going and would love some ideas. I am on WW, so I would like something that isn't more than 6 points, but will satisfy my sweet (sometimes chocolate) craving, any ideas?

I haven't tried them, but I hear No Pudge Brownies are good, and like 2 points. They come in a bag that you have to mix, but I hear that you can do single serving sizes which is safer, because I've heard reports of people eating the whole pan. Don't know if you can get them over there or maybe on the internet? I'll send a bag if you want though, I've been meaning to try them myself.;)

edit: I found a link!

I'm not sure about points, but when I really have those cravings I'll buy the Hershey miniatures and let myself have one each day with a big glass of water- they're small- but fit the bill when I just gotta have chocolate- they're probably 30-50 calories I'd guess. Also a tootsie roll really helps sometime- but I really like the real chocolate thingies!! :)

Andes Mints - 1 point each

Miss Meringues (or other brands) Meringue cookies. These are really sweet, and either low fat or fat free and all natural. I love the chocolate chip and they also have a chocoloate chocolate chip. The mini ones are like 10-13 for 2 points and the regular size is about 4 for 1-2 points. Something like that.

I count the hershey's miniatures at 1 point each.

Almond Joy - Snack size bar (2 points)
Snickers Snack Size bar (2 points)
Reeses PB Cup Snack Size (2 points)

A lot of times, if I am looking for something chocolatey and I want something filling - I will have half of a Peanut Butter chocolate Kashi-Bar for 2.5 points. I also just tried the Luna nutrional bars (chocolate pecan pie) and it was really yummy and 3.5 points. The Luna bar had a 35% calcium and a lot of other vitamins and minerals.

the queen of sweets! i have a very large sweet tooth and i'm constantly looking for new low-pt sweets! I don't know how limited your choices are but here is what i'm into this week:

pria bars 2 pts

peanut butter pudding (see recipe on WW thread) 2 pts

meringue cookies 2 pts

1 tbsp RF peanut butter on 2 choc. graham crackers 5 pt (but that is regular graham cracker not low fat)

skinny cows 2/3 pts

I noticed there are several dessert recipes on the WW thread, maybe try something you can freeze and keep at hand. I have frozen the choc. amaretto cheesecake before and it's yummy still (even yummy frozen :))

sugar free jello with FF cool whip 0 pts

i'll edit if anything else comes to mind :)
good luck my sister-sweet tooth

:smooth:

I enjoy toostie pops i even found a dollar store that has MEGA toostie pops those are good for TOM .LOL I usually indulge in the regular ones and i keep a bag of mini toostie rolls on top of the frig.

Not sure if you have these by you, but I love them and they really satisfy my chocolate and sweets cravings!

Starbucks Frappacino Mocha Bars - frozen treat (ice cream style)
2pts each!

I also love cereal as a sweet snack....sometimes dry! It really helps! :)

Not sure about points because I am counting carbs, but look in your grocery aisle near the puddings for Oetekers Chocolate Mousse Light. It is made in Canada where they know their Moose.
YUM it is delicious. Very low in calories, made with artificial sweetener and so chocolaty. It tastes like the chocolate mousse they have at WDW in the Italian restaraunt Alfredo's.
I never had Mousse in Le Celier because I am always stuffed there and have no room for dessert.
I mix it with whole milk because I am counting carbs not calories, but the directions say mix it with skim milk. Peggie
