My Mom and Step Dad just bought a house and are moving - my DH and I are doing a lot of work (painting, putting down ceramic tile, moving stuff, etc, etc, ) for them and they want to take us to Disney World to thank us for helping.

Now we just took them last Oct/Nov and they definetely caught the Disney Bug. My DH, DD and I have been 3 times (me 4), and it has always been in Oct/Nov.

What are some other times of year that have great weather, fairly low crowds, etc.?? I would love to go to see the Christmas Decorations and attend MVMCP, but my DH loves to hunt and Deer Season in PA is the first 2 weeks of December (which would be a great time for us to go except for that.

Any thoughts???

We've went before towards the end of May. Our schools were out but lots were not, so I found the crowd factor was really reasonable, no long waits and it wasn't too hot yet. Hot but not too hot. I think it was the end of the 3rd week in May.

Mid-May is a great time to go if you can take the kids out of school. Perfect weather, fewer crowds. We've been at all times of the year and May is by far our favorite with October a close second.

Early December! I know how sacred hunting season, being from South Georgia! LOL! But this is my favorite time, so may special things! The crowds are slim and the weather is great. We have experienced some short showers, but I guess that kept the crowds down. You can't beat the decorations and the special Christmas shows! MVMCP is fun, even for adults w/o kids!

Good to hear that end of May is a good time! Phew! This will be our first time going at the end of May.

Usually we go in Dec. for MVMCP and we LOVE it. It's gotten a bit more crowded last Dec., but w/ Fast Pass it's not that bad. (IMHO-the first 2 weeks of Dec. is best but the closer to X'mas the more crowded it gets).

But MVMCP is an amazing time to go, the decorations are breath-taking and they make it "snow" on Main St. (What more can we ask for!)

Hope this helped! ENJOY!!!:teeth:
