My current digital camera is a kodak cx4310
and he's looking a little sad.. it only has 3.2 mega pixels, its kind of bulky, and its pretty slow. My friends at school have the canon powershots which i really like, but they're a bit out of my price range.. but after taking pictures with those cameras, i really realized i needed a new one..
i had several main concerns..
-obviously price.. somewhere between like $190-$240ish is what i was thinking..
-batteries.. right now my camera uses 2 AA, and even tho i have rechargeable ones, its just kind of a pain. i want to just plug the camera itself in and have it charge.
-size.. i want something small and sort of compact
-speed.. im not sure what the technical term is for it, but i want a camera thats fairly quick with the actual picture taking.. like, i can take one right after another
i've pretty much narrowed it down to three. i had originally just been planning on getting the sony cyber shot DCS W30..
it has 6.0 mega pixels (ps, i dont know what that means really either, just that the more it has, the more expensive it is lol) it plugs in to recharge, and i think u can get it at best buy for like $229
but i was @ sears today and i saw the sony cyber shot DCS P200..
..now this one is 7.2 mp, its not as tall, but a little fatter maybe, i believe it has the same zoom type, 3x optical 2x digital, rechargeable battery, and it was on sale for $199.. i wouldve just gone for this one if i hadnt seen this next one..
a casio EX Z57
this only has 5.0mp, but it has 2.7 inch screen.. 3x optical zoom, 8x digital.. it doesnt have a viewfinder, which i like incase its dark and stuff doesnt show up on the LCD, but it has rechargeable batteries, and it comes with the actual dock for $249. this isnt the sale price, but it might go on sale, so it could be cheaper.. it also has some crazy features, like you could take a background picture, and then a picture of yourself, and it combines the two itself
soo i need some help deciding which to get. its mainly between the 2nd sony & this casio. im probably going to go back to sears and play with both of them again, but im still pretty stuck which one im going to get =/
