I need some help choosing a resort!

This summer, June 29, to July 5, (I think) My dad, my cousin (16) and I (13) are going to WDW. Since my mom isn't coming with us, my dad and I need to choose a resort! I'm a Disney fan, but I just don't know where to stay!

How is the Swan? Or any of the value resorts? Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!

You kind of need to know what is important to you. Can you sleep in two double beds? The Value or Moderates will work for you. Do you need two queen sized beds? Then you need a deluxe. The Swan had queen sized beds, the Dolphin still has doubles.

What kind of theme do you want? Pick a resort that will match that. How about the pool? Do you want something cool? Do you want something that little kids will like?

You might want to go over to the WDW website and check out the resorts to see which appeal to you. Or get the Birnbaum book and see which resort has what you want.

What location is important to you? Make a decision based on that. Then call 1-407-DISNEY and see what they have available.

This is just a suggestion but I would have to say to pick a resort real soon. Since today is the 2nd of june and you are looking at going in like 3 weeks and ever since Disney has started the FTP everyone who thought about going is and people are up-grading their hotel choices because of the savings.

We have a friend of the family that works for Disney and she keeps telling us how busy their reservation dept is getting and how quickly the rooms are going.

Just a thought...
