Thank you very much

Crystal Palace Lunch
Liberty Tree dinner
Garden Grill lunch
Coral Reef
Sci Fi lunch
Hollywood and Vine Dinner
Ohana
chef Mickeys

Also what is a good table service at the Ak? Not RC we have tried that, and didnt really care for it.

Hi!
We have been to O Hana's, CR, and CM's.

CM - It was a great breakfast buffet and the character interaction was alot of fun.
CR - We were seated right in front of the glass and it was a great view. The food was delicious.
O Hana's - The food was plentiful and really delicious. The atmosphere was very nice and we got to watch the water parade eating our dessert!

We have only been once, but our experience...

CP lunch...we had 11:30 ADR (the first lunch seating) which we made on an morning with EMH. Perfect timing. We were ready for a break. We checked in at about 11:10 and didn't have long to wait. But the crowd was growing significantly, the check in line was getting longer and longer...but inside the restaurant, we were among the first seated on the right side, and we got to spend such good time with Tigger! The restaurant is beautiful...I love the glass and the greenery. The characters are all very fun, we didn't feel rushed although we were ready as we realize that everyone is anxious for their time. The buffet is nice to me for a character meal, because you can time when you get your food around when the characters are coming. When the meal is sit down, sometimes the characters come and your food is getting cold in front of you while you interact. I know, it's not all about the food but still...I really enjoyed the food at CP for lunch. I thought it was a nice variety...good salads, good hot food, tasty desserts. I think you will definitely enjoy CP.

We did H&V Fantasmic! dinner package. Our ADR was for 4:10 pm. I know, seems a bit early huh? But it was well planned. H&V is a total cafeteria atmosphere to me. It gets loud. We didn't have long to wait to be seated and when we were leaving, there were tons of people waiting. Even with an ADR, you will still have to wait for the next available table for a party of your size. Anyway, the food was good. I liked the shrimp, loved the creamed corn spoonbread, and thought that the dessert selection was fantastic. The salads were good too. I read a lot of complaints and so I was concerned about the food, but I thought it was very good buffet quality. I liked having the early ADR. We had time to walk around and see some sights, and grab a couple FP for ToT before F! started. When it was time to go to F!, we were ready to sit for a bit. And we were also not so stuffed from dinner that we were able to enjoy some adult beverages and snacks during the show!

I don't know when your WDW trip is planned. Currently, the only TS in AK is Donald's Breakfastosaurus which, as the name implies, is a character breakfast meal. There is a new TS restaurant that is scheduled to open sometime this year, called Yak and Yeti, but I don't think anyone really knows when. Also, Tusker House, a popular CS restaurant will be closed for renovations soon as DB is moving from it's present location and will be held in Tusker House, where I think it is supposed to be called Donald's Safari Breakfast?:confused3 Don't know what will happen for lunch and dinner, as currently the place with the character breakfast is a CS for lunch and dinner.

I would suggest calling WDW Dining and seeing what ADRs are available at the restaurants you want to see what your choices are. You have picked some popular restaurants from what I have read on these boards, and so you will want to get your ADRs as soon as possible. You can make them 180 days out. You can always change them as you learn about the different restaurants and decide if you really want to go.

Hope this helps. Happy planning.:goodvibes

Crystal Palace Lunch - We love this place and try to go on every trip. Beautiful Building, good food and you get Tigger too:tigger:
Liberty Tree dinner- sorry never been
Garden Grill lunch - Ate here years ago and it was very good. Tried it again last November and was not happy at all. The Characters are the best here but the food was below par and I found the restaurant to be kind of dirty.
Coral Reef - Very good - great atmosphere also
Sci Fi lunch - Everyone must go to this restaurant at least once. Great Disney atmosphere - food is OK stick to the basics burgers and shakes.
Hollywood and Vine Dinner - sorry never been
Ohana - One of our all time favorites, both before and after the menu change. Lots of fun, great view of MK and if you time it right a great place to watch the fireworks.
chef Mickeys - The ultimate Disney character experience. :mickeyjum The only drawback is its location right in the middle of the vast CR lobby

As far as the AK TS is concerned since yeti and yack (worst restaurant name ever...) and the Tusker House TS is not open yet I would suggest taking a short bus trip over to AKL and eat at Boma

During our trip in 2004, we had dinner at Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic dinner package) and we loved it. It was a buffet and the food was wonderful. I will say that if you're a picky eater, you might not care for it, because they did have some different recipes (pork with a sweet gravy for example). There were several items that sounded odd to me (and we'll try anything), but for every one we tried we were very pleasantly surprised with how good the item was.

We also ate at Chef Mickey's for a character breakfast. The buffet was excellent. We also ate at Crystal Palace for a character breakfast. What impressed me about that was that the breakfast buffet was also delicious, but there wasn't a single item that was the same as Chef Mickey's. I half expected them to match, since they were similarly themed, but it seems they go out of their way to present variety.

Crystal Palace Lunch- We did this on Good Friday 5 years ago and it was so disgusting, we haven't given it a try since. There were mostly seafood options, which I did think was thoughtful, but they were nasty ones- like crawfish stew.

Coral Reef- Love the atmosphere, food was good, but I thought the menu was very limited!

Sci Fi lunch- have done this a couple times and loved it- burgers, fries, onion rings, milkshakes. Great Atmosphere

H&V dinner- we also had the first seating available for dinner, which I had originally thought was too early, but worked out great. Everyone enjoyed their meal here

Ohana- Probably everyone's favorite meal of any trip we've been on! :goodvibes

Chef Mickey's- Love the dinner, haven't tried breakfast yet but will in September!

Overall, I think you've got a great list for 1st timers to TS. We hit almost all character meals and a few other themed restaurants on our first trip as well.
