I need opinions on transfers from the WDW resorts to the port and Ron Jons

I am one confused gilr!
If we decide to stay at Ron Jons the night before we leave- will a limo rd trip from airport to WDW resorts to port and finally airport drop us at Ron Jon instead of the resort?
If it won't - that means that we have to rent a car- if we do that and return the rental friday when we get there, will the rental place take us to the resort? Or does the resort have a shuttle from the car rental place?
Finally- on Saturday- does the resort have a shuttle that goes from the resort to the port?

I know I have more questions- but let's just start there!

Well to start off with I'd suggest that you price it out with a transfer company and see how much it would cost you to do it. We've done airport/poly/Animal Kingdom back to Poly to get luggage/port/port/airport hotel for inlaws/POR/pick up the inlaws at 10pm and take them to airport hotel/POR pick up to go back to airport and it was absolutely NO problem!

For this upcoming trip we have 1 transportation co taking us from airport to POR. Then we have a limo rented to take us from POR to the Port and back to the airport. All of them were very accomodating!

I would suggest getting some prices on different options and seeing which one works the best. I'm pretty sure that a limo company could care less if they drop you at a Disney Resort or Ron Jon's. Also I dont know where Ron Jon's is exactly but unless it's pretty close to the port I doubt they'd have a shuttle to take you. From the MCO airport to the Port is about an hour away and about an hour and 10 min from the Disney properties.

karebear1- We're on the same cruise as you. Last year we stayed at the Radisson and rented from Budget. We arrived on Friday and rented a one way 1 day rental for 26.00 going and 44.00 back to airport. When I returned the car to Budget on Sat. morning, they offered me a ride back to hotel. I chose to walk the 2 blocks instead. Budget would happily drive you back to Ron Jon's. This year we're staying at Ron Jon's instead. Are your friends going to join you on our cruise? How many people will be in your group? ...Mark

Mark- Thanks for that info. It helps me in my decision making. I'm not sure whether my friends are coming or not, probably won't know until the summer, but I do know taht my DS and her DH are joining us on the cruise!
