I need MK/MVMCP Experts!

We will be in the world December 16-23. We will not be attending any parks during EMH and we are for sure not attending MCVCP. I had originally scheduled us to be at MK on Tuesday the 19th. I see that this day is scheduled for MVMCP and I think I read that it is the last??? My question I guess is will the MVMCP that day significantly add to the crowd level of the park that day? Should I reschedule for Wednesday, the 20th? We've never been during the holidays and are not knowledgable about MVMCP. Can the experts please offer their advice as to what you would do if you were in my shoes? Thank you!!!

You will likely get differing opinions but in my experience (and what some other more knowledgeable people say) MVMCP nights actually reduce the amount of people in the MK during the day. Thos going to MVMCP are drawn to other parks (or in our case not to the parks at all) because they will be there all night.

I would keep yur days as they are now.

In my opinion park opening and during the day park levels are ok it is at 4-6 when they start letting the people in for the party and banding them that it starts gettng crowded. If it were me and there was another day I could switch my park I probably would especially if MK was opened later since it closes early for the party.

We will be at the party on Dec. 19.

It is not the last party date. They run every night through that week except Wed.

I think people with tickets to the event will actually spend time in another park for part of the day before entering on their hard ticket for MVMCP. I don't think it will affect park attendance until late in the afternoon as they begin allowing folks through the turnstiles with the MVMCP tix to join regular day park guests who haven't left yet.

Since Wed. is the only day NOT scheduled for a party night that week, I wouldn't switch to it because it is also the only night regular admission gets you late night hours, so more people without the park hopping option and no party tix will take advantage of visiting MK that day than any other during the week.

Of course, we are crazy and will be there until closing Wed. night too!

Hmmm, I can see both points of view. Changing to Wednesday would free the MVMCP crowds but this is the only day of the week besides EMH that is open until 11:00 pm! If there are a lot of planners, this day might get a little hairy with regular guests taking advantage of the extra hours. Well, now it's officially a dimemna and I'm sure I'll be stewing over it for the rest of the day! I guess I need to try and guess what the lesser of two evils will be and definitely have fun no matter what! I think I am leaning toward leaving it at Tuesday, the 19th.
