Originally when DF and I started planning the wedding we decided that we wanted to take the family to 1900 Park fare after the cake cutting ceremony, but that was when we wanted a 2:30 wedding. We finally decided on a 12:00 wedding and never took into account the fact that 1900 dosen't serve lunch...ugh! I still really want to take them there (in our wedding attire) but we'd have a 3 hour gap in between the time our ceremony ends and dinner begins. What in the world can we do with our guests for those 3 hours without spending too much money??

How about having tea at the Gardenview Lounge? You can look on allears.net for pricing. But it can be very inexpensive. By the time you get done with the ceremony, cake cutting and pics. I really do not think you will have alot of time to waste. Maybe take more pics on the grounds of the Grand Floridian. GL with what you choose.

That was actually one of the things we were considering...we could have tea and then explore the hotel since it would decorated for christmastime...it would be a great oppurtunity for pictures! I could also have DH (he's gonna be my DH!!! TEEHEE!) go ahead and check us in at the GF so we could straight to our room after dinner...OOOHHH...I'm getting so excited!

Any other ideas?

Since you're at the GF, you could hop on the monorail and head to the Contemporary or Poly to see the decorations as well. Ok so you'd be on the monorail with your attire, but it could make for some nice photo ops.

The monorail sounds fun...I don't mind being in my gown. It's my my day, I deserve some attention!! HAHA!! :rotfl2:

What we did is we rented a boat and went around the lagoon(we were by Boardwalk) & it was so much fun & relaxing. We got some great pictures too.
