I figured you guys would have a ton of ideas! :)

Our theme at Ornament Premiere on July 10th is Disney because of all the Disney related ornaments and specials.

I have $100 to spend on a theme for my premiere - decorations, things for my employees to wear (about 10 of them), refreshments, etc

Anyone have any great ideas to help me out?

And to cut to the chase - no Jeff, I'm not renting a cotton candy machine

$100 for 10 people, plus decorations... thats tight, but doable.

I think dollar store MAY have tablecloths (or can you use your own inventory there?)

You can also use red/yellow if they are predominately Mickey ornaments, or go with a pastel tyep thing if it princess oriented.

For employees to wear, (if they want to) little tiaras can be had at dollar store/party store. (cute for princess)

Waddy ya mean no cotton candy machine. :teeth:

COTTON CANDY RULES! :teeth: :hyper:

Oh my gosh - I LOVE Hallmark ornaments!!! They are definitely my "thing". I've just about quit buying any other kind of ornaments because I run out of room on my trees and Hallmark ornaments have seniority! Sorry - I don't have any ideas, just got a little excited about ornament premiere!

My local store was going to order ears for all her employees to wear!! Just a thought :)

I've "inflicted" my 5 yr dd with my ornament collecting! She looks forward to buying new ones as much as I do!

Go to playhousedisney.com and print out a stack of the colorable pages. You can hand them out to the kiddo's to take home. You could even set up a table with crayons and colored pencils so they can color it there.

Please, oh please, no kazzos!! An Old Navy store at one of our malls gave these to the kids a few weeks ago. You could not even walk through the mall, all the kids were blowing them like crazy.....all over the mall! Talk about a headach........

To get your customers in the mood for Christmas and buying ;), you can have a Disney music cd playing. Check out Amazon to get ideas.

Lori,
Do you happen to know someone who works at Home Depot? lol

Have that person grab some of those colored Mickey paint chips and use those to decorate. Stick them on ribbons and banners. Cheap and pretty decorations.

Maybe have some kind of contest where people bring in their favorite WDW photo.
I do like the coloring contest idea that Kimberle gave.
Let us know what you do. Peggie

I like this idea!

Is there a Disney Christmas CD? That would be perfect, the stores here are usually playing christmas music. Looking forward to the premiere. :) I need to make some room and decide what I have to have!

Well, I won't be sticking around my Hallmark long enough for ornament premiere, but I'm pretty sure they haven't planned anything yet!
In addition to what the $100 can buy, maybe your employees have some things they could bring in from home?
If anyone's a pin collector, maybe they could lend some pins to other associates for the day? I like the idea of the mickey ears!
