As long as you don't get sea sick. I can't see how it's any different than living in dorm rooms. Close quarters, shared spaces, and all that other fun stuff. Even when I was working at Disney, there were standards for being "onstage" and "backstage" whether you were on or off the clock. And even being off the clock could get you in trouble if you did something stupid. So I'm sure there's similar rules on a ship.
And I'm sure there's many private amenities for the crew to use on board the ship.
I've heard stories from people that work cruises regularly, you get like 3 months on board then, a few weeks off. I would look into how much "land" time you get. I don't think I'd want to spend 12 months aboard a ship.
