OK for those that have kids you will understand and those who don't please take pity on me. My 1 year old son has become attached to a Mickey Mouse stuffed toy I bought 1 week ago. Of course now all the Disney Stores around me are out of it. The Disney Store is the only place they sell them!!! I need a back up in case this one gets lost! I was wondering if anyone has a Store in their area and wouldn't mind calling to see if they have any left and then giving me the store # so I can have it sent to me. I would be forever grateful!! It is called Little Ones Mickey. It is a stuffed Mickey with ragged fur and is about 6-9 inches tall.
I would really appreciate the help!:(

Check WDW Merchandise. I think i saw them in the World of Disney Store the last time I was there.

There is a link to it on www.wdwig.com (sorry I'm unable to get on the site right now or I'd look it up!)

They can locate just about ANYTHING for you that is sold on Disney property.

And I'll check my local store tonight. Hang in there!

I called merchandise and they said they didn't have them!! I will try again!!:earseek:

can you put up a pic so we can see what it looks like?

You can't make Mick "disappear" in favor of something more common? I have to say my DS is fixated on puppies right now and he wanted a specific one, and he takes that one to bed along with two others and then I took one out to see if he noticed, and he does not. So I rotate the puppies and he is usually happy with whatever puppy he is in bed with! Maybe you can get a bunch of different Mickeys and see if he is happy with any Mickey.

I did this because DD 6 sometimes still looks lost without her poohbear blankie and I had to buy three she was so hooked. I didn't want to go through that again!

DD4 received a bunny as a gift before she was born. She has become attached to it so we bought a spare in case something happens to it. Then she just wanted to have both bunnies (that sure backfired), and she can sure tell the difference between soft bunny and mall bunny.

I hope you are able to find another one. If you do, I suggest doing what we do. Don't let your DS take it out of the house. Hannah gets to take her bunny with her only if we are going to be gone overnight or if she is getting shots at the doctor.

OT, Microcell, I love your animated photo.......makes me giggle every time I see it! *but what are you actually DOING?* hee hee

If the OP posts a picture I'm sure someone will recognize it and pick one up for your little tyke! LOL

I will post a pic when he wakes up from nap. I just snuck in there to swipe it and he it sleeping on top of it.
I wish I could swap it for something else but he soooo attached already! I think it is the feeling of the ragged fur. The name is "Little ones". I can't believe he took to it so quickly. He has never had a lovey before this!

All I really need is the phone # for the store that has them. Then I can just call that store and order it. I even tried to get a listing of other Disney Stores so I could call myself but I couldn't get that either!
I will post the pic as soon as I can!

I just did a search on switchboard.com for The Disney Store. Seeing your location as Boston, I asked for any locations within 100 miles (obviously, you could have it sent). Here's the link to the page I pulled up which includes some DS locations in NH and RI.

It's a very long link, so I hope this works.

Edited to add: I don't even know how many of these Disney Stores are still around but at least it's a place to start with phone numbers.

I'm hoping to head to the mall tonight, I will check if they have it. If they do I will pick it up.

WOW!! Thanks for the numbers! I will be calling as many as it takes!!

I contacted the Disney stores here in Hawaii and they didnt' have one sorry :( .

You guys are the best!
Barb- Just let me know the # and I will have them send it! I don't want it to be an extra job for you!!
