I need help

We are off to stay at the animal kingdom on 23rd October for ten nights and our 180 day is due in two weeks time!!!!! I have been trying to get my confirmation number from Disney for the last month but every time I ring them they have no record of my booking. I booked through Thomsons in September last year and have paid it all up. Is it common that they don't pass on our details to Disney?

I have been into the store where I booked the holiday and they haven't been able to give me an answer and I have been onto Thomsons Facebook page to get some help and this was their response:

"Unfortunately we don't provide Disney Dining references to pre-book restaurants, these are only provided for customers who book directly through Disney. I've e-mailed the shop to contact you, and made them aware that you were un-happy with the service that you received from them. If there is anything else we can do then please don't hesitate to send us a message"

Is this right? as I didn't book through Disney directly I am unable to prebook my restaurants?
Has anyone from the UK booked through Thompsons, if so did you get the Confirmation number required for prebooking?
I have to admit, I am so confused right now!!!!!

weve booked via Virgin in the past and have managed to get our reference number easily.
So its not just for people who have booked directly with Disney.

sometimes it takes a few phone calls just to find the right person, who has the correct info.

I know companies do block bookings with Disney, so they dont always have the details but they should be able to find you.

hopefully someone who has booked via Thomsons can help you

just looked on facebook-is that your msg theyve replied to?

If so looks like its being sorted, if not- look at the comments on their page.
Someone has same problem and theyre finding out the reference for them

Your confirmation number is only helpful to book the first 10 days of Dining Reservation once you reach the 180 days mark

with the confirmation number : 180 days out you can book restaurants for the first 10 days of your stay

without the confirmation number : 180 days out you can book a restaurant for your check in day. You'll need to wait for the next day to be able to book day 2, the next day for day 3 and so on

so even if you don't get your confirmation number, you'll still be able to prebook your restaurants. It might be more difficult to get the most popular venues such as CRT or BOG but you will be able to book your restaurants at the 180 days mark, only one at a time instead of 10 days in one go
