I need help?

I just realized that I am 180 days out from going to Disney World!! Problem is I kind of wanted to take some friends to eat at the Castle for their first trip. The other problem is I don't have the money today to pay for the reservation. My question is do you have to pay for the whole meal or do you have to put down a reservation fee like with resort reservations?

Are you on the dining plan? If you are you can use the credits, and will only have to leave a credit card as a deposit in case you no show. If not, I really dont know how that works! But nowadays it seems castle reservations are a little easier to come by, so even if you have to wait a little bit you still have a good chance you will find a reservation, esp. if you are flexible on which day you go and what time you eat. Ive seen ressies still available 2 weeks before a trip...

CRT is a fully prepaid restaurant. Unless you are on the dining plan you will have to pay the full amount for the meal at the time you book.

I got my reservation for CRT three weeks out in August 2011. Mind you it was a late dinner but I still got it. So that is an option to try closer if you are not on the plan.
