I need help

Hi my name is Zoe I am only 10 but have been to disney more then I could ever count . Anyways My family and I are going to disney sometime in December and are thinking of staying at the Wilderness lodge for the first time . Is it a nice hotel ? Any info would be great help .

Zoe,

WL is a wonderful resort to stay at especially if it is cool outside -- it has a huge fireplace in the lobby. In December it will be decorated for Christmas also which makes it even more beautiful. You need to check out the pics of the resort. I'm thinking you will like it alot.

Welcome to the DIS!!

We stayed at WL last year with our dd who was 10 - she really liked it! We planned our dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe - she had a lot of fun as the waitress pulled up her father and I and asked everyone to wish us a Happy Anniversary - she felt the food was good (BBQ meat and fries) and it was just a fun happy place.

She loved the pool - it had a small slide... she liked the atmosphere - they have a geyser - and we loved taking the boat from WL to the MK -

We didnt like the long lines for the food court - but the food was fine... it seems everyone wanted to eat, then leave about the same time!! She also didnt like the Cub Den - a babysitting type play area - they have ages 3 or 4 to 12 - but mostly when we were there they were all really little kids, so we didnt use that service.

There is a huge thread for the Wilderness Lodge - but their first page has a lot of information on rooms and location.

I found one of our pictures taken outside between the pool and the back of WL - (we loved exploring the lodge - lots of creative carvings to discover - we went up the stairs and found a door for the outside on the 2nd floor - it was fun exploring!)

Hi Zoe!

The Wilderness Lodge is so beautiful in December, we stayed there in Dec 06 for 5 days and had a great time! There is this HUGE Xmas tree in the lobby and a roaring fire with rocking chairs in the lobby too.

You and your family will love it!
