We are having a reception next week to celebrate the finalization of our daughter. I wanted to wrap up a few tulip or other bulbs in some burlap to give as favors. I want to attach a note on it, but I'm having trouble coming up with anything that doesn't sound too over-the-top cheesy. Basically I want to either say something about our family growing and these bulbs growing or about growing a family through adoption. Can anybody help?

The only thing I can think of is the quote about how a child from adoption doesn't grow under a mommy's heart, but in it. But that's not really what you are wanting to say.

How about something simple like:

Take these bulbs and watch them grow, just like our family did the day we adopted (DD)...

Thank you for celebrating with us...

These bulbs will soon grow,
As our family has done so.

It's all I got. :lmao:

That's perfect. So simple. I don't know why I couldn't come up with that. I was making it too complicated.:headache:

A baby is a flower sent from heaven to blossom here.

Please plant and enjoy these blossoms in honor of our beautiful (add babies name here).
