I need help figuring out our plan and meals!

We're taking our 2.5 yo and 16 month old for their first trips :)

I plan to spend our first morning in MK and than head back to the hotel for naps in the afternoon. I can't decide what to do in the evening.
Head back to MK again? Hit Epcot?

Based on menus and my picky kids ;) I'm considering Tonys in MK, San Angel or Biergarten in Epcot.

Any thoughts?

Than for our last day we're doing breakfast in Epcot at Akershus than we'll head to the hotel for naps in the afternoon. I'm not sure where to end for our last evening. Back to Epcot? MK since that'll likely be the kids favorite park?

I'd likely do Plaza or Tonys in MK or San Angel or Biergarten in Epcot.

Our trip plan in general is this (if that helps with suggestions!)

Day 1 - MK in the am - ? in the evening (MK or Epcot)
Day 2 - HS in the am - we have a conference thing at night
Day 3 - AK in the am - ? in the evening. We'll do CS this night and either hit MK or Epcot
Day 4 - No parks
Day 5 - Epcot in the am - ? in the evening (MK or Epcot)

:woohoo: I'm getting excited to see my kids reactions to everything!

Day 1 - MK in the am - ? in the evening (MK or Epcot): I think you should go back to the MK that night. We love spending the first entire day at the MK! Tony's would be great to eat at that night. I also recommend Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. You'd only be a monorail or 7-10 minute walk away from the MK!

Day 2 - HS in the am - we have a conference thing at night: Based on your children's ages, I really recommend H&V for breakfast. It was one of the best character interactions we had this past trip with a 3 1/2 year old!

Day 3 - AK in the am - ? in the evening. We'll do CS this night and either hit MK or Epcot: Tusker House at AK would be another great breakfast.

Day 4 - No parks: Maybe find a restaurant at a Resort that looks good to you. Or maybe try somewhere at DTD.

Day 5 - Epcot in the am - ? in the evening (MK or Epcot): If there isn't any places that sounds appealing to you at Epcot for a TS, Sunshine Seasons in The Land is a great CS meal!

Hello....Well i have to say your 1st experience with your children will be Amazing! I used to go to Disney world nearly every yr as a child is was my Daddy fav place to go, and like you he loved watching my reactions...I never thought anything could top my own experience of the rides and charecters etc but that all changed when i took my 3 boys, They are now Twins 5 and oldest 8, we did our 1st family trip when the twins was 17 months and oldest 3 and it was just Magical  even at that young age interaction was wonderful, I would suggest that since you have young children they would love Crystal Palace as its a Buffet service one credit if on DDP, and that will mean your children can pick at what ever they like, also you see Winnie pooh Tigger Piglet etc nothing beats young children and Winnie pooh, also MK at night looks beautiful and you have the Parades, and Fireworks,
I have eaten at Tonys and for my hubby and I it was lovely but when i took the children last yr they was bored their is not much to look at even thought the food is very nice, Another fav of my boys that we tried for the 1st time last september and had to book another 2 times after was Hollywood & Vine it had never taken my fancy but we couldnt get a reservation for our usual...so glad we did it The charecters are great You get JoJo from JoJo Circus the lion(sorry can remember his name) and other great charecters from the Disney now junior channel! I cant explain how fab the interaction was you also have mini dance times with all of them every 15 mins or so I wish i could remember all the charecters that came by our table and danced with the boys, I dont find there is lots for young children to do at Epcot! Even though i love the park it does lack in rides etc for little ones apart from the fab Figment of course and if your children can sit through it the Ellens Adventure too! The Princess breakfast at Norway was a Great choice too! my boys refused to go unless i did TEX dino restaurent :rotfl2: but then enjoyed it more so as the Princesses gave them so so much attention!!! And the food is some of the best ive eaten (we have done most places) Either way hope this has helped and have a Magical time :)

I'd try to keep it as close to a normal bedtime as possible so I wouldn't do alot of nights.

Day 1 - MK in the am - ? in the evening (MK or Epcot) go back to mk and do dinner at crystal palace... totally worth it!
Day 2 - HS in the am - we have a conference thing at night hollywood and vine is an ok buffet but the characters are worth it at that age
Day 3 - AK in the am - ? in the evening. We'll do CS this night and either hit MK or Epcot I'd take the evening off here and not worry about park hoppers. Swim and hang out. Do Tusker House for breakfast! It's great!
Day 4 - No parks I'd use the money from lack of park hoppers to buy another day in the parks. (Overall you'll still come out ahead.) I'd do a second day at mk wihtout a doubt. Then break or afternoon off. I've founds its hard with little ones to be in a hotel room all day.
Day 5 - Epcot in the am - ? in the evening (MK or Epcot) I'd go back to EP this evening to not park hop and maybe try for biergarten or Garden Grill or Akersh. house.... we like San Angels but the tables are REALLY close. Uncomfortably so with little kids. Mine are 4 and 2 and they made me so nervous there!

Tony's has the worst food ever, in my opinion. I'd also recommend Crystal Palace. For your kids ages, its perfect! And i'd also suggest you go back to MK and not park hop. I always stay at MK all day on my first day. :)

I would NOT recommend Crystal Palace. This was the worst Disney dining experience I have had in over twenty years.

We - party of seven (two first timers, a mom and a 7 year old) -ate lunch there last week. Even though we had reservations, we still had to stand outside in the 90+ degree heat for about a half hour. Once we got inside to eat, it took over two hours for the four characters to come to our table. For the first timers, two hours was way too long to wait for characters, so they left (after seeing two characters in about an hour) to go enjoy other areas of the MK.

In addition, the food was not that good - lots of carbs, tough steak from the carving station, etc.

I spoke to a manager who basically could have cared less. He and other CMs there said it takes about 1.5 -1.75 hours to see all four characters. I said that was ridiculous considering how many people want to eat there (based on how many other guests were waiting outside). Also, for someone who has a limited amount of time to visit the parks, taking two hours for lunch is way too long for children and for adults.
