I need help with my ticker

help please, I can't get my ticker to work. I've had tickers before but obviously I'm doing something wrong but I can't work out what. Thank you for your help.

I looks like you're using the wrong code.

I think it needs to be the BB code.

I'm not sure where you're getting your ticker from, but I used the entire BBCode or UBBCode from http://www.magicalkingdoms.com/timers.html

from [url to /url]

OK, I clicked on the code you posted, and it took me to the Magical Kingdoms site where I created another test ticker. When done, I see this page:


I then copied just the code in the BBCode box (the whole thing) and pasted it here:


The code I'm seeing in your signature is not the correct code. It should start with "[url" not "%5B" before the "url".

Another thought. When you copy the code and then paste it into the signature window, are you clicking the "Safe Changes" button on the bottom of the page?

You still have the incorrect code in your signature:

I'm thinking I might just forget it. I have had many tickers over the years, I can't work out what's my problem is this time.

Well, does the incorrect code just the wrong info at the front of it? You can manually change that to what it's supposed to be after pasting it. Before hitting "Save changes"

Yes I gave up on the second ticker, no matter what I did it didn't work. Thanks anyway.

Are you making sure to cut and paste the code? Not copy and paste. What device are you using? After many frustrating failed attempts on my phone and iPad I learned that I can only add a ticker to my signature when using my laptop.
