i need help using the sony multi function dvd recorder

i have the sony multi function dvd recorder i know how to connect it to my video camera but i am really lost in connecting the dvd recorder to my vcr so that i can put my home videos on to dvds is there away to connect? thanks

I love the dvd recorder thing.

When you are ready to record connect the yellow & white & red cables to the unit from your vcr outgoing plugs. The recorder unit only has a place for audio & video. My vcr uses white and yellow. Then you should see the video playing on the small screen.

thank ourtrip i did figure out how to record but when i checked the dvd there was no sound i used all 3 cables

I am glad you got it to work. I am not sure what is going on with the sound. I have recorded from the vcr to unit with the tv on very low the sound on the dvd was good.
