Honestly I don't know what the heck happens when I cook:lmao: I just made killer pasta sauce, but it's waaay too spicy. I put in red pepper, black pepper and red pepper flakes. How can I control the heat?? I did add some sugar and put a potatoe (I know that' supposed to absorp salt so I figured what the heck).

The only thing I can think of is to "expand" your sauce by adding MORE of the tomato's you use to double your recipe???

By the way I only use some "regular" pepper in mine as far as peppers go, and Splenda, LOL!
 
Yeah I went overboard with the pepper. It was just soo fun to throw a little of this and a pinch of that :rotfl: It felt so official
 
Sounds like one too many "BAM"s! I don't know what to do except add more tomatoes.
 

I would probably add more tomatos or tomato sauce to make the heat thinner. Then cut the sauce in half and freeze what you don't use.
