We are planning a split stay using DVC the second half of the stay next Jan 1 - 10th. We just tried to reserve the Poly Concierge and they are completely sold out for 1/1, but available for the rest of the nights. We were able to get a Marina view concierge in the Tonga building for that one night then we would move to the Hawaii building for the rest of the stay for our lagoon view. There is a garden view lodge room at the GF also available. We have never actually stayed in the lodge at the GF or in concierge at the Poly. We will be staying at the Poly next month for 5 nights but not concierge (again, not available when I booked). What would you do? We hope to watch Wishes from the hotel our first night there and spend a lot of time at the pool. It will be me, DH, DD's 6 and 4 (almost)

We went through a similar thing this past new years. I kept calling CRO to find something for the night of 1/1 and all they had was CSR. I must have called 10 times a day for two weeks and finally gave up. Someone here on the resort board suggested I try Dreams Unlimited, and boy am I glad I did! :) They got me the EXACT room I wanted for that night on the first try. ::yes:: So my advice is, keep trying to book it yourself with CRO but if you feel like you aren't getting what you want then go with Dreams. They seem to have some extra *~pixie dust~* when it comes to making reservations.

As for Poly vs. GF... it's a hard choice. They are both great. :)
