You have to excuse my compacted family in advance

So my step mom is definitely doing the river ride over fop due to motion sickness

I am planning on doing the river ride over flight of passage due to my fear of heights

My mom and dh are the dare devils in the family and are doing flight of passage

The complicated part would it be better for both groups to try the attractions with out a fp and get a fp later that way if dh and my mom decided I can ride flight of passage I can still ride that way I am not riding fop alone

I would not try to do it without a fastpass. FOr flight of passage I really doubt you could get a day of fastpass, or even get one after your 60 day mark. For our 60 day booking, they were gone within the first ten minutes. I would book the passes, then you can always cancel them.

Rumor has it if I can do sorrorin I can do flight of passage so I well book fop for me as well they are saying even though it's a 10 foot drop I well not notice it

Other than the Pandora rides, are you planning on riding all other rides together? What are your other FP+ plans?

I might consider this. Make FOP FP+ for everyone, but try to stagger it a little bit (ok, I know I'm being optimistic here as I couldn't even get FOP FP+, but, I'm going best case scenario here). Make DH and mom's FOP FP+ for, say, 10:30 am and yours and stepmom's at 11:00 am (I know stepmom isn't riding but I'll get to that). After DH and mom ride, they can let you know if they think you would like it. If it's "yes", use your FP+ and give stepmom's MB to DH or mom to ride with you (this is legit since stepmom is in the park and has used her ticket to get in). If it's a "no", change out your and stepmom's FP+ to something else. If you do this, you'll have to all ride standby for Nav'i and I would try to do that at RD if everyone is up for getting to the park early.

It's been 13 years so I don't know what is at Ak outside of pandora
It's tough to be a bug
EE
ROL not sure if dh can handle it we well either leave before the show or try to ride fop one more time while our parents watch

I would highly recommend going on the WDW website and taking a look at the list of attractions at AK. IMHO, there are so many, really wonderful things to do there. If you are afraid of drops, you may not want to do EE or Primeval Whirl.

Our favorite things to do:

Kilamanjaro Safari - this is a "must-do" at AK, IMHO. Great safari ride and a chance to see a wide variety of animals roaming on the savannah
The animal trails - lovely stroll, chance to see gorillas and tigers plus other animals!
The shows - both Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo are excellent. We really like Flights of Wonder, too
Dinosaur - kind of intense. If you don't like fast, jerky rides or dinosaurs popping out at you, you may want to skip it.

I was not planning on EE thats for dh a little worried about him doing it alone only because if they ride gets stuck a cm won't help him but no one else in my group is eligible to ride unless you count me and given my balance issues not sure how much help I would be in a emergency

In an emergency, people will help him. Don't worry so much! They are adults at Disney, not in some foreign country where they don't speak the lauguage.

My DS9 rides EE by himself. I just wait for him at the ride exit that is located in the gift shop. I think your DH will be fine.

What I neglected to put in my previous post is he does use a ecv he can walk and stand just can't do it for the length of AK and I have never be evacuated from a ride so I don't know what is expected of him physically

I was also told on these boards it was a 10 foot drop but I have recently been assured on this board that it is only a 2 foot drop. I was also shown pictures. Hope this is correct and hope it helps. I just plan to close my eyes if I am getting freaked out.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that. I still think he will be fine. Many people with mobility issues ride these rides so I'm sure there are plans in place to help those who need it. Rides are rarely evacuated. We've been to WDW 30+ times and have never been evacuated from a ride.

Totally my fault I should have said something sooner

No!! You're good!! :) It seems from your posts you are really worrying about your trip and planning for potential catastrophes. I just want to let you know that it's really rare that true catastrophes happen at WDW and they have protocols and procedures in place to deal with ride closures, etc. The chances that he will need to be evacuated from EE are slim to none.

Are you early risers on vacation? Since the Pandora FPs are going so quickly, my strategy is going to be going for Na'vi FP for everyone and rope dropping FOP. And I'd probably FP the safari and Lion King show.

If your DH is the only one interested in EE I wouldn't use a FP, I would send him through the single rider line.
